Angelo is a phenomenal hairstylist and such a positive, radiant person in general. This was my second visit with him and I am in love with the results. Not only did I leave the salon with a bomb hairstyle, but also an uplifted spirit from chatting with him!

I absolutely adore this salon, and their array of services and customer-service is fantastic. I have been working with Sophie for several years now and she is absolutely phenomenal - so much so that I continue to come back to see here even after I moved out of DC! And I highly recommend Victor for wedding makeup and hair services and special occasion services - he is beyond talented and I didn't have to worry about a thing on my big day!

This salon is just up the street from the Ritz Carlton DC. I walked to the salon and the neighborhood is very nice and a good walking area with wide sidewalks. The salon is very well decorated and the front desk staff acknowledged me immediately and offered me coffee or water. I had a pedicure with Marjorie during this visit and she used single use tools and the nail area is very clean and well decorated. Please keep in mind that there is only one pedicure chair so make sure to schedule an appointment in advance. There is an ATM located inside the salon by the front door and they do not allow for you to add a tip to the credit card, so make sure to bring cash for the gratuity or you can use Venmo.

I knew about Karma because a friend’s dermatologist recommended her the place. So, I thought they knew how to really take care of hair in difficult process, like bleaching, which in my case I needed it to do it for the roots of my silver colored hair. When I booked the appointment, they recommended me Victor. Who told me that I had a very beautiful color and a healthy hair, when he met me. To do the bleaching process, he used a too strong product to do it fast (first mistake) and at the end, not only the roots had bleach, how it was supposed to be, but almost most of my hair touched the bleach (second mistake). Then, he applied the silver color when my hair was wet, not dry (third mistake) and all over it, I guess because at the end, all my hair touched the bleach before so the original color was almost gone. when he washed my hair, It didn’t get the silver color I used to have, it was white and yellowish. So he applied after a very dark grey color (forth mistake), this time with a dry hair and something that was never my original reason to go to the hair salon. The result, a new color I didn’t ask for because I used to loved my silver color, and a very damaged hair. Now my hair doesn’t stop breaking and I have less than half of the hair I used to have. The hair salon gave me my money back and say sorry, which was good of them, but what bothers me is the fact that they didn’t even try to compensate the damage they did and I even received a comment from Victor like "on these processes is normal to lose some hair", a comment that really made me upset, because all the hair I have lost and I am still loosing is not normal at all. Now I have to find ways to hide the bad condition of my hair and I don’t like myself when I look at me in the mirror. To get back as I was before, it will be minimum two years.

Brandon is an absolute gem! I recently had a curly haircut and hair coloring done by him, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. His expertise with curls and his creative approach to color left me with a look that’s both fresh and flattering. From the moment I walked in, his warm personality and attention to detail made me feel at home. I’ve received so many compliments and couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend Brandon for anyone looking to transform their style. Five stars all the way!

I just had full balayage and a haircut/blow dry with Victor and couldn’t be happier! He was thorough and the result is amazing, natural-looking color. His cut/blow dry made me look and feel like a Kardashian sister - I still haven’t washed my hair 4 days later 🙂 thanks Victor!

Best hair salon experience I’ve had without a doubt! This is my first google review but I wanted to share how fantastic the salon is and how INCREDIBLE Brandon is. This was my first time with the stylist, salon, and hair extensions generally (to add, my hair was in very poor bleached blonde condition), but Brandon was so professional and immediately put me at ease. He walked me through all the extension options and the process of ordering hair and scheduling appointments. During my visit the K-tip extensions were installed flawlessly and the color match was award worthy! I’ve been having my hair treated for about 10 years and I’ve never walked out of a salon so happy. If you’re in any doubt at all about the condition of your hair or next steps book with Brandon and he will take care of you. I’ve spent the past 6 months so self conscious of my hair and he has given me all of my confidence back!
