After a year and a half of searching for someone in DC who could keep up with my hair straightening treatments, I finally found this lady — WOW!!! Thank you, Lord, for putting her in my life! Back when I was living in Bahrain (in the Middle East), I used to do Keratin Organic treatments regularly. When I moved to DC for my husband’s military job, I had to find a trustworthy salon to keep up with my beauty routine every three months. After many disappointing experiences, I was about to give up… until I decided to give this city one more chance — and thank God I did! My hair is naturally curly, but after this Japanese straightening treatment (Liscio), it’s now incredibly soft and spaghetti-straight! All I need to do is wash it with shampoo and let it air-dry naturally. If it’s cold outside, I just use my blow dryer — no brush, no styling needed. Besides her amazing skills, she’s such a lovely, sweet, and easygoing person. The salon is spacious and welcoming, and I honestly have only great things to say. And if you, like me, appreciate a good scalp massage while getting your hair washed — she will literally put you to sleep. Her hands are magic! God bless her 🙏 Of course, I’ll definitely be back!

Mora is professional and most importantly for Japanese hair straightening incredibly detail oriented (she loves straight hair as much as I do!) Mora has straightened my hair for more than 8 years. She is extremely conscientious and takes additional steps to protect your scalp and hair.
