Hava is an ARTIST!!! She is truly a master colorist and gave my hair life I didn’t know it needed. I have been getting balayage for years, but she has given me the hair I’ve always dreamed of. She was extremely meticulous; no detail was overlooked — you can tell she focuses on delivering top-notch results. I walked out of Cavalry Salon elated and feeling like a supermodel! Above all, Hava and the rest of the staff were so kind, accommodating, and attentive. In the sea of hair stylists in DC, Hava is the cream of the crop. I am definitely coming back to see her. Highly recommend booking her for balayage ASAP!

Yvonne is an artist! I asked for a balayage with reference photos, and she was able to replicate it beautifully while still matching it to my natural hair color. The blowout was also beautiful and my hair felt like silk. I can’t wait to come back, I had an amazing experience!

I went to Calvary Hair Salon for a haircut and balayage after having my hair done incorrectly abroad, and once again Yvonne exceeded my expectations. I was visiting DC for the holiday break and had very limited availability, but she was so kind and accommodating and penciled me in as soon as possible. This is my fourth time trusting Yvonne with my hair, and she never disappoints. She listened carefully and delivered exactly the color I wanted. Her balayage always lasts for months and grows out so naturally, which is something I truly appreciate. My hair looks healthy, refreshed, and beautifully blended. I can’t recommend Yvonne and Calvary Hair Salon enough — she is incredibly talented and thoughtful with her work.

I've lived in 4 countries and 5 cities...this is the first salon I've visiting in my 30+ years that KNOWS how to work with curly hair!! Yvonne's devacuts are a work of magic and Cindy's finger curl method is equally miraculous. I've been going for months and they even taught me the finger curl method so I could repeat it at home, which I've been doing very successfully. Forever grateful! Highly recommend Cindy! I was visiting from San Francisco for my graduation and needed a last-minute wash and blowout. I have naturally curly 2C/3A hair, and Cindy washed, blow dried, and styled my hair in under an hour—without rushing the quality at all! The blowout was super voluminous, polished, and honestly better than one I paid much more for a month ago somewhere else. My hair looked healthier, shinier, and even longer than it actually is. First time trying a new salon after moving to DC and Carlos was phenomenal! He layered it exactly as I asked and took extra time at the end to carefully style it. Could not recommend him more!

Yvonne does an exceptional job with color correction and blonde highlights. After my first appointment with her, my highlights blended so much better with my dark brown hair. I was able to let it grow out for 5 months because of how well it was blended (I’ve never been able to do that before.) I think the pictures speak for themselves for what an incredible transformation my hair went through. She is a master at what she does!
