I have been meaning to write a review forever -- I have been coming to Angela for a couple of years now and I absolutely love the haircuts she gives me! I go for a sort of shag haircut (I have wavy, medium length hair) and she nails it every time. She's great to talk to and the salon has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere that I love.

I’ve been going to Angela McCarthy for over two years now and she does a phenomenal job on my hair. My hair is straight and fine so it’s hard to find a good stylist who knows how to cut it, and Angela is hands down the best! She’s also done highlights on my hair that looked naturally lightened from the sun, which was exactly what I asked for…I highly recommend her!

Her attention to detail makes it so a fabulous hair cut grows out beautifully until you’re ready for the next salon visit. She has supported my different style ideas (various cuts and dye jobs). She has used her expertise to help me look my best, all while being warm, friendly, and engaging. If you want a salon appointment where you can feel like you’re in the company of a friend, see her! Angela has been styling my hair for over 20 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She's talented, insightful, and really understands hair. She always listens to what I want, explains how she has to modify it because my hair isn't the same as the model's hair, and I am always happy with how it comes out. The salon is peaceful, comfortable, and friendly. It's a great experience all the way around.

Angela does such a wonderful job on my color and cut. She always adds a touch of warmth and depth to my brown hair. Angela always asks about how much to take off for my cut and my hair always ends up looking stylish and healthy. She is so fun to talk to and the salon space is great!

Angela is a veteran hair stylist, she knows hair and has been doing mine for years! My hair is long and I like it blonde and she gets the color perfect everytime! She is a perfectionist at cut/style/blowouts and of course color. I wouldn’t trade her for anyone, we all know how particular we are about out hairdressers and excellent ones are hard to find - look no further ANGELA is great at what she does, she’s trustworthy and always aims to please her client. I can’t say enough about her! So give her a shot she won’t disappoint!

Angela has been cutting my hair for many years and I have followed her to her new salon, Shear Tranquility. The salon is relaxing with a very nice ambience. Angela has gotten to know my hair and is honest about what will work for my hair. She has always taken care of me and I've always been pleased. She is a wonderful person and I consider her a friend.
