LN Beauty Express

I had an appointment at LN Beauty Express in Houston for highlights, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Emily was my stylist. I showed her clear pictures and videos of the color I wanted, but the results were nothing like what I asked for. She applied bleach to my hair and left it on for over an hour and a half — twice — claiming she couldn’t achieve the color because I’ve used dark dye to cover greys before. I’ve had highlights done before without issues, so this explanation didn’t make sense. After washing, toning, and doing a softening treatment, I noticed severe breakage where the bleach had been applied twice. When I pointed this out, she dismissed it as "just a little bit." I was so upset I started crying. When I asked what could be done, she simply said, "You tell me what you want to do," instead of offering a professional solution. The other staff weren’t helpful either and only suggested toning my hair darker to hide the damage. Now my hair has four different shades, severe breakage, and I’ll have to spend more money and time repairing it. Overall, it felt like Emily lacked proper professional knowledge, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Very disappointed! The photo attached doesn’t justify the damage:(

She will give you good advice on what would be more flattering for your hair type and healthy. Not to mention, I absolutely love the oil treatments!

The prices are absolutely unbeatable for the quality of service! I've paid much more elsewhere for less amazing results. If you're looking for a fantastic stylist at a price that won't break the bank, this is the place to go!

I had a really disappointing experience with Cathy. She left the bleach on my hair for far too long, even after I told her I was worried about breakage and asked her to remove it. She didn't listen. The final result was not a balayage at all and looked nothing like what I asked for. On top of that, she cut off a lot of my hair, which felt like it was done to hide the damage from the over-bleaching rather than fix the issue. I trusted the reviews saying Cathy was good, but that was not my experience. I'm really unhappy with the outcome and wouldn't recommend booking with her.

I’ve been going to Cathy for 10 yrs now, she always delivers on what I ask for. Great prices too! Go see her for your hair and balayage needs like I do. I also got a matte treatment today and she did my moms hair at the same time with me 🤗

Best hair salon ever! I cover my head with a hijab and they accommodated me so well by taking me in the back. All the stylists are great. Super budget friendly as well
