I didn't realize until I got home and after the blow dry styling wore off, but my bangs and hair are not the same length, and I realized that my hair stylist never checked to ensure my lengths was the same throughout. My hair is also straight, so it is very visible how some layers are longer or shorter than the other. She also cut so much more bangs on one side than the other, and I ended up having to cut and fix my own bangs after I got home from the uneven length. While washing my hair, the stylist would scratch my scalp with her nails continuously, and though she stopped when I asked her to, it still hurt and ached for the rest of the day, and it hurt when I showered as the hot water was making it burn from the scratching. I'm disappointed as I came here due to recommendations, but the uneven haircut that I ended up having fix myself and the pain from the washing, I could not wholeheartedly recommend this place and am very sad about this whole experience. I do want to add that the front desk staff were wonderful and kind and want to give them recognition for their hospitality. Unfortunately the haircut experience was far from so.

Both my girlfriend and I go here ~ Joe was my barber and he did a great job. Mariah is my girlfriend’s stylist and she’s booked out for months but worth it. Michelle is very kind at the front desk, very empathic and helpful.

This was the best experience I've ever had at a salon. It has such a cool and quirky vibe, I wish I could recreate the decor in my own home lol. I asked for Melanie to do my long to short cut and she was awesome! Super friendly and put all my nerves at ease. It's also very affordable! I was shocked that it only cost $35 for a haircut like mine. They also took all the possible precautions to prevent COVID, so I felt as safe as I could be in that setting. I will definitely be back, I don't think I could go anywhere else now.

Kyra was great ! My hair is very fine and damaged and she was honest with me about my hair goals without being rude or judgmental, she did a great job on my hair and was so friendly and kind

Kyra is the best! She is so skilled in hair color. She listens to her clients. The salon is run professionally and had a great atmosphere.

Kyra is an absolutely amazing stylist. I honestly didn’t expect much going in, but she completely blew me away. As someone with Asian hair, it’s always been hard to find a stylist in St. Louis who truly understands how to work with it—and after over 10 years of searching, I’ve finally found someone I’m truly happy with. She’s not only kind and professional, but her skills are top-notch. I’ll definitely be going back and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.

Annie is amazing with curly hair ! Very patient yet efficient. She makes people feel confident with their new style and is actively in dialogue with the client. It's as if you AND Annie are one team who are achieving a great cut. Additionally, Annie is very knowledgeable about curly hair textures, down to maintenance and types of shampoo. The salon itself is also very clean. We had to book months in advance and it was worth it!
