Modern Love Salon Scottsdale Arizona

0 stars absolutely the worst. I had an app with Alex and when I arrived there was no appointment for me in the computer. Lyndzie, another stylist offered to take my appointment. After 6 hours in the chair for a full highlight requesting to have my blonde brightened, (first picture shown is what I asked for, second photo is what I received) I got home to my shirt bleached too. I expressed I was not happy with my hair and that I wanted it fixed. I wrote the salon through their website and called directly but never got a response. Thankfully I had exchanged numbers with lyndzie and spoke to her directly. She offered to fix it. Two weeks later after being closed for renovations she put a toner on my hair and it got even darker (third photo). While the salon paid my back for my shirt ($30) I have since requested a full refund for the 8 hours and complete opposite done to my hair than I had asked for. I have emailed twice and called 3 times requesting a refund with photos and have yet to hear from the owner or stylist. I regret ever taking that appointment with Lyndzie, I wish I had walked out when my appointment wasn’t in the computer. Save yourself the hell I have been through and go else where. Neither the owner or the stylists know what they are doing.

I hadn't had a haircut since November. I scheduled my appointment online (super easy!) and Alex gave me a fantastic haircut. Alex was super bubbly, inviting and is very good at what she does. I will definitely be going back to her! In addition, the salon has an awesome vibe / ambiance and the owner, Nina, is awesome. Thank you, Modern Love!

Modern Love is by far the most superior spa/salon my friends and I have continued to return to. When you find a salon that offers superior customer service, relaxed atmosphere and specialists in all areas of beautification; you travel the extra mile. In the years I have been coming here, I have only seen clients who were pleasant and happy with the services they received. We have all (at least I have)had a haircut that we were not happy with. (Jennifer Anniston didn’t like her famous haircut when she started friends) All I can say at this point is, book a girls party, a bridal party, give your tired mother a gift certificate. This is the best in town.

I absolutely loved my experience in this place. Misty did a wonderful job and exceeded my expectations! The day before I had had a terrible hair experience when I went to another salon to have highlights done in my (very) dark hair. Well, I ended up with the bottom half of my hair ORANGE. I looked horrible and I even had to cancel a meeting because I was way too embarrassed about my hair. Misty fixed it amazingly and I had a great time talking to her during the process (and drinking some wine because well, I had spent a day with the ugliest hair ever). She was really professional and kind, listened to my expectations, and at the end I trusted her to do whatever she thought it would look good. Now I'm so happy with the results and having all my friends (and even my mom, lol) complimenting my hair! Thanks Misty and Modern Love Salon team!! 😍

The workers were very sweet people and very professional. But I will be taking my mom to another salon for color. If you're looking for a natural look this will be your place. But the stylist covered my mom's blonde highlights with toner/glaze that was three to four shades darker. They did offer us to come back free of charge and we did go back. But I will be returning to my original stylist.

Jamie is AMAZING! She has continuously blown me away with the transformations she does with my hair each and every time I go in! The salon itself has a very friendly and modern feel. Great location as well. I will definitely continue to keep coming back!

I scheduled a same day haircut and got an appointment with Stephanie. Love love love my haircut and Stephanie was very nice and fun to talk to. Everyone there was professional and kind. Will definitely go back!
