Bliss Nail Bar - Nail Salon in Round Rock

I came in for the first time today to get a fill on my acrylic nails and Nini did absolutely fantastic work, she put a lot of attention on my cuticles. I showed her a photo of what I wanted but she made it even better with her suggestions. Also can’t go wrong with the complementary drink! I’ll definitely be back!

Today i came in to get a mani-pedi. I typically come in for Ken (he’s great & very attentive with all the detailed nail designs i like) but he wasn’t here today BUT I decided to get a manipedi anyways since I only wanted to get the acrylic removed & keep my nail length that i was able to grow out since my last visit & for reference my original nail length was around the same length as your first joint on your finger to the tip (of course I planned on getting it SLIGHTLY trimmed but i needed to keep my overall length) I’m going to state 2 things for details. 1. I’m a hand & foot model & i actually get paid more for my length of my nail, 2. Typically when i come in I spend around 200-300$ for my set & pedicure but that’s me spending a day in there & that’s just me wanting to feel a bit pampered. Anyways i want to mention my last service before i mention this one, I came for Ken as per usual but i ended up getting my pedi first after I waited about an hour since I had to wait for him to finish up with a client he had which i was ok with. The issue happened after he was forced to change with another tech to service their client since the client was being difficult & I ultimately left unsatisfied & paid around $285 for that day but i tried being a bit too understanding I guess. Fast forward today I just wanted my toes natural, the acrylic on my nails removed, & I asked for her to focus on my calluses as well since again hand & foot model. Welp she added a $20 charge for gel I didn’t ask for & was convinced by the staff to either get builder gel or acrylic "to keep the natural length" i decided to do a natural builder gel nail just because I needed a natural color & my length for my next shoot, THEY CUT OF MORE THAN HALF THE LENGTH I had , my feet don’t even look like they were at a salon & now I won’t be able to do my shoot as well as $125 down the drain for some of the worst services I’ve had & all they could offer me was a $20 gift card for my next service. I don’t think i plan on coming back because even if you repeatedly ask for a certain service or attention to a certain area it won’t be guaranteed but the price definitely will. I’ll add pictures of my feet & all the length i lost since I literally just left this place. This is just such an unfortunate experience because Ken is honestly such a great tech & he listens so adamantly & it wasn’t even his fault he just happened to be off today but now I don’t even think I’ll be able to come back. I added the line to show how long my natural nail was & it was still very sturdy & intact after she removed my last acrylic set!!!

Some of the recent nails I’ve gotten from Bliss in the last month or two! The whole salon is amazing, but I especially appreciate the care and attention to detail Hung provides. I always feel 110% comfortable asking him for something specific, or just saying he can do his own thing and make them look pretty. I’ve never ever left Bliss as anything other than happy with the results. The entire staff is great from the second you walk into the door to the moment you leave. I feel very comfortable there, and always really look forward to my visits. I’ve never had a nail pop off, or even had one really chip at all. I’ve been going there with my daughters for a few years now and I feel like the service is very consistent across the staff. They have a 10 day guarantee but I’ve never needed to use it! I highly recommend Bliss Nail Bar!

This was my third time visiting this salon. I made an appointment a few days in advance with a specific technician. When I arrived and checked in at the front desk, I said I had an appointment at that time with that person. I was told she wasn’t feeling well and that they could assign me to someone else. I agreed because I was already there and it was my only day off to get my nails done. Unfortunately, the technician who attended me was not very friendly and it was obvious he just wanted to finish as quickly as possible. When you go to a place where you’re spending over $60 on a manicure, you should feel valued not rushed or treated like they’re doing you a favor. What bothered me the most is making an appointment with someone specific only to be told that same day that they’re unavailable, instead of being honest and saying she was busy with another client. Why go to a place where you’re rushed through a service you’re paying for and leave feeling frustrated? I came here based on recommendations, but honestly, I feel this place is overrated. When customers are treated as secondary and the focus is more on quantity than quality, there is clearly something wrong.

Beautiful salon, everyone was so friendly. Only thing I did not like was I was rushed to the pedicure chair without choosing my polish color. In the chair I was given one book of regular polish colors available and was told glitter was only available in gel which is $20 extra. After paying I found out they have glitter in regular polish and I was upsold to gel. Which was frustrating. Buyer beware!

I’ve been coming here for the last few months since moving to the area, maybe 6-8 times. I’m always really happy with the service of the whole team. I get builder gel and have never had a breakage. Highly recommend this service. Kevin is ridiculously talented with fine detail designs.
