Adrian is amazing, and one of my favorite hair stylists ever. I go to her for both extensions and highlights. My hair is very thin and is tricky to make look full, yet Adrian does it masterfully with a combination of tape in extensions in the front and wefts in the back. My blonde highlights are also tricky (I have brown eyes and a brown base) so we need to blend the right balance of blonde and golden tones to get it to look natural, and Adrian does a wonderful job with this and with my cut. Her work ethic is above and beyond -- she always goes the extra mile to deliver excellence and get it just right. She's extremely personable and fun and easy to talk to, so I always look forward to coming to see her. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I have been coming to Vivian regularly for more than a year now. When I moved to Maryland, I wanted someone who specifically specializes in hair extensions, not just as another service that the salon provides. And I definitely found that in Black Rose Salon. Vivian is simply the best with hair extensions! I’ve gone to several other places in the Maryland and VA area, and she tops the list without compare. Viv and Adriane are amazing! Viv does the best blonde color I have ever gotten. If you are looking to go lighter, or just looking for ANYthing to switch up your normal hair (or refresh your look) she is the one that will transform your hair into this beautiful thing you will LOVE. I’m from out of state and made an appointment with Adriane for tape in extensions. It was my first set of extensions Ana she talked me through the appointment in what to expect, have e tips sms suggestions on maintenance and styling, she answered all my questions and was patient and fun. Both Adriane and Vivian were flexible with my appointments Ana helping me decide what I needed and had time for. I tried making a second trip to see them when back in the state but time wouldn’t allow. They would’ve been Worth the 2 hour drive the second time if I didn’t need to catch a flight. If you're in DC or Maryland, I highly recommend seeing Adriane or Vivienne at Black Rose Hair Salon. They left their former, male-owned salon because they weren't being treated properly and started their own salon! I love to support independent, women-owned businesses, and these girls are the real deal. They deserve all the recognition in the world. Adriane transformed my orangey-brown at-home balayage into this beautiful ash blonde. I am blown away by her genius! I've been getting so many compliments on her work, and couldn't be happier.
