I regret coming to this salon. I went to Alannis, and I would NOT recommend it. I did not get something even close to what I asked for. I asked for balayage, and instead she turned me into a complete blonde. I sent her pictures a couple days before my appointment, and even a couple minute before she started on my hair. Below I will show before and after. I was very disappointed with the results. It was not worth what I paid for at all, it literally looked like I tried to dye my own hair. I had 4 different shades in my hair. I called the manager the next day hoping to get help, but she said she couldn't help because everyone basically has their own shop inside the salon. I talked to Alannis, and asked for a refund at least for the dying part because it was really nothing close to what I wanted. Her response was "It states in my policy that I don't give refunds. I spent too much product and time" First of all I was never shown, or sent a policy. Second, it's not my problem that she spent time or product..... should've given me something at least similar to what I wanted. She said she would give me "20%" of what I paid, but I never heard back from her even after I tried contacting her. I had to go to someone else to try and fix my hair, because it was so bad that I couldn't even leave the house. Please everyone refrain from going to her because it will be a big disappointment , waste of money, and time. Overview: if you have thick, frizzy, curly-ish hair thats unmanageable, go to Anne. I have A LOT of hair. I’m talking normal-sized strands but a lot of them which makes my hair super thick. It’s also frizzy and lands somewhere in between curly and wavy. It’s chaos most of the time. I’ve gone to Anne twice now and she is awesome at dealing with this monstrosity called my hair. She takes her time with washing and cutting, and is super friendly, fun to talk to, and knowledgeable. She does not pressure products to buy, but gives feedback and recommendations based on the health of the hair and typical upkeep (I.e. applied heat) if you ask. Oh yeah, she also is very meticulous when it comes to shaving. I have an undercut and she takes the time to reshape and carefully trim the undercut to my liking. It turns out great and with fresh lines every time! Her prices are very fair, and you can really tell she cares for her clients and enjoys her work! I can’t recommend her more highly 🙂

I've been going to Mahshid for about 5 years now and all her services are fantastic! From hair cuts, keratin treatments, and coloring hair she is very thorough to do quality work that lasts. I have a picture from when she dyed my hair a red color and another time when I asked for purple. I get compliments on my hair even long after its grown out! Mahshid also is a fun person to talk to.

After finally looking for a hairdresser for so long, I found the one! Maggie Kassimis was just amazing. She’s so warm, so professional and knowledgeable, she really cares about what I was looking for and also helped me take care of some issues with my scalp. My haircut was so beautiful and perfectly done; that I can’t believe that I finally found the right hairdresser. I had a wonderful time while being there.

I called this place last minute as I really need my eyelashes done for the following day. They took me in and delivered. The quality, service, kindness, efficiency everything is great about this place and my eyelashes look phenomenal. The lady that did my eyelashes was patient with me and did exactly what I asked for. I look forward to coming back ❤️

My hairstylist for approximately three years, left the hair salon I would frequent. Needless to say, I was freaking out trying to find a new hairstylist. I looked through every Yelp! and Google review for salons near Rockville, MD. Upon my search, I stumbled upon Symmetry Salon Studios and saw how many positive reviews one particular stylist received: Maggie. I decided to book an appointment a few weeks out. What people said about her was true. She is phenomenal at her craft. To boot, in just one appointment, I felt like I have known her my whole life. From the moment she sat me in the salon chair, she asked every important detail about my hair, any issues, hairstyle, expectations, every day routine. She did a fantastic job with cutting it just the way I had envisioned. The perfect length, perfect layers, and exactly what I wanted. It was like she had known me for years and this was routine for her. That's called a true master at her profession. I am considering myself a forever client of hers. Oh, and her salon has the most calming and welcoming vibe. Also, as an aside, it turns out, not only is she amazing with what she does, she has a heart of gold. She is donating her time and skill to an important organization that's close to my heart. I cannot wait for my next haircut. I will definitely be singing her praises.

I have been getting my hair done with Mahshid at Symmetry Salon for years now and followed her there from her previous salon. She is an excellent hair stylist who is especially talented with color and keratins which is what I mostly see her for. She has a great eye for color and does a fantastic job every time on my highlights. Keratins are a specialty hair treatment and she has been doing them for years and excels at this treatment. I always walk out feeling and looking great when she does my hair!
