Dellaria Salons @ Blossom and Root

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. I went in for a hair service that cost me $245, and not only was the service below expectations, but my brand-new Lululemon sweater (which I had just bought) was damaged during the appointment. While the stylist was washing my hair, I told her multiple times that she was getting my back and clothes wet. Unfortunately, that ended up causing bleach/toner stains on my sweater. The most upsetting part of this entire situation was the salon’s response. Instead of taking responsibility and replacing the damaged sweater, they tried to shift the blame onto me and offered a few blow-dry services instead($200) as if I would ever return after this experience. Their "solution" was to simply mail back the ruined sweater in the condition it is in now. It is completely unacceptable to pay for a service, have your personal belongings damaged due to lack of care, and then be told there’s nothing they can do. I left the salon with a ruined sweater and a terrible overall experience. I do not recommend this salon, and I will never return. If you choose to go, be extremely cautious with your belongings, because if anything happens, you will be on your own.

If you are looking for a salon with colorists who can make you look like you were born that way look no further than blossom and root. This salon boasts a beautiful interior and a welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly and warm. I leave feeling refreshed rejuvenated and my hair looks flawless. What more can you ask for? We are lucky to have such a lovely business here in Plymouth.

This salon is beautiful and so clean! Kayla gave my grandmother the best cut she’s ever had locally! She usually travels for her hair appointments but she is getting older and traveling isn’t something that is easy for her anymore. Kayla is so kind, she took the time to really listen to my grandmother about what she likes her hair to look like. She nailed it. We will most definitely be back!

Juliana is absolutely the BEST for haircut and color!!! I’ve been going to her for years and every time she does my blonde perfectly. She is an amazing master hair stylist and I recommend her to anyone. So kind and careful when working with your specific needs and hair type!! Will be returning again because I’m so happy every time 😁

I have been here twice, both times I booked with Kayla for a cut and blow dry. This salon is beautiful and clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Kayla is a fantastic stylist, a very cool person, AND SHE NAILED IT!! Both times! I showed her some reference photos and she gave me exactly what I wanted, and took the time to teach me how to style it and which products to use. You really do get a luxury experience here, I walked out feeling so beautiful 🙂 I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Loved and will return when I'm in the area! My family has a condo in White Horse Beach so we come up a few times a year. However, we had a wedding on the Cape on Friday 9/19 and I called Thursday 9/18 at night (very last minute of course) and they were able to give me an appointment for 11am Friday morning for a blowout with curls. The woman who answered the phone was so so sweet and accommodating. Jaylynn was my stylist. I have pretty thick and long hair and when I tell you, she had me washed, blown out, and curled in under 40 minutes and it looked amazing. Efficient and high quality, what more could you ask for? She was also a sweetheart. Beautiful salon, lovely people, and great talent 🙂

I want to start out by saying that this salon is clean and beautiful. However, the lack of time management by my stylist is just unacceptable. The last 4 appointments I’ve had, I have waited over half an hour or more because my stylist was running behind. This past Friday was the last straw. My appointment was originally at a certain time and one of the receptionists called me to let me know my stylist was running behind and ask if I could come in later. I appreciated the call and came in at the later time, thinking it would save me from sitting in the salon and waiting. So when I walked in and saw my stylist was washing someone’s hair out and still needed to cut, dry and style them (which is probably at least another 45 minutes to an hour), I was understandably upset and spoke to the women at the front desk. She was fantastic and I wish I got her name because she deserves kudos. She understood and offered me options (having someone else do my hair, rescheduling, etc) which I appreciated but declined. Unfortunately, I would’ve loved to continue coming to this salon to get my hair done but having to agree to a cancellation policy about being charged/cancelled if you’re late and then allowing stylists to constantly fall behind and completely disrespect my time is unacceptable. I just wanted to warn people: if you value your time, it may be wasted here.
