I had the best experience here! I got a cut, color, wash, and blow dry with Amber. She did an amazing job, everything I asked for she did even better than I expected. I will 100% be returning and asking for her!

I asked for the little, front, face framing pieces to still remain longer than my chin, but instead it seems she ended up cutting an entire layer of hair around my head at that length. I did ask for long layers, but it’s very choppy and I feel like most of the length that I actually wanted is missing. When my hair naturally rests around my face it just looks like I have a bob. Also want to add that I came in with my natural curly hair and the shape is even more awkward when I style it curly.

Very happy. I wanted to try something new; and Darlene executed it perfectly. I’ve gotten so many compliments!!! She is honest, thorough, and even does curly hair🥰.

Super nice ladies. I believe in their true talent. It was my first go there. Don’t like leaving bad reviews, this was a biggie. Although I spent $400 for Bayalage, cut, clean and blow, with my hair coming out completely stark and unblended. It looked better before going in. The head stylist, or manager, even acknowledged that once I pointed it out next day. They were very prompt on trying to fix the issue. I live two hours away. Getting my hair fixed within two weeks is unreasonable for that time frame. I understand it’s time sensitive. I asked for a partial refund and they told me I couldn’t get one and only to get a redo (with their junior stylist when I paid for a master) They knew it was all wrong. A refund should have happened. Beware of the color services. I only asked for a bayalage refund. Pictures attached. Don’t do color or balayage here.

Appointment in August 2024 for perm with Heather. Took two hours. Charged me $179. I was told she was done. She let me leave with wet hair and wet shirt on my back. She never even dried my hair or even styled it at all. I was very disappointed. When I booked the appointment the price for perm on line was $125 with stylist/director. I never expected to leave with wet hair( not even a towel dry). I did not have a cut with this appointment. Very sloppy if you ask me.

I was recommended by a friend to go to Michelle at James Joseph in Plymouth. I was so nervous that I first booked a consultation. My hair had 3 or different colors in it and hadn't been colored or cut in months Michelle listened to what I wanted and took her time to explain everything to make sure we were on the same page. She genuinely wanted me to be happy and feel beautiful with the color and cut. I appreciated the fact that she also consulted with Tina, one of the directors, who was also a color correction specialist. It took 40 years but I finally got the color I have been searching for. Mission accomplished! She was also considerate of my budget (I am a senior) which was greatly appreciated. So heartfelt thanks to Michelle and Tina for making me look and feel 10 years younger. I am very lucky to have found Michelle. Shout-out to the staff there for being so helpful and attentive. I have already recommended James Joseph to my neighbors.
