accused me of "dropping" and "breaking" a spray when all i did was walk passed it, then tried to charge me for it lol. when i told the cashier i didn't even touch it, it fell down on its own you can check cameras...she replied with "well it wouldn't fall if you didn't touch it". well if your employees weren't stuffing things on the shelf where they clearly didn't fit, maybe it wouldn't have fallen? and then have the audacity to try to blame and charge me for something that wasn't even my fault? didn't end up charging me because she knew better. this place does have good stuff tho but they're just really rude and don't make you feel welcomed by following you around the second you walk in especially that i'm not a new customer, i've been coming in for over a year every month.

Came here to look at brushes and gel etc they were fine till one of them accused me of recording and told me to "get out of the store" I was confused because I did nothing wrong and they could’ve been more detailed what they meant by and so I left because I will not be shopping from there and will not give my money to them. I really recommend the Beauty store next door they weren’t following you around and their customer service is really nice I told the lady about the situation because I know her and she agreed that a lot of customers that comes out of from the Hot beauty store they come over to impression beauty supply complaining about it. DO NOT COME HERE

Today I walked in and decided to get hair extensions. Immediately as I walked into the door I was greeting by two employees who had helped me pick and choose which blonde color was good for my hair. I want to say THANK YOU!! And also thank you for all the hair samples you gave me to treat my hair ❤️

I honestly do not like shopping here. They racially profile you as soon as you walk into the store and follow you around to every section you walk through. This happens to me and nieces every single time we walk in, it’s ridiculous you can’t even shop in peace and it’s just so uncomfortable. I prefer the beauty place next to it, better customer service.

They do follow you around the store as soon as you walk in the place. They tell you that something is returnable just for exchange within seven days and then you go to return it and they tell you they won’t take it back. I will never patronize again, the beauty supply next store is much better and with excellent Customer service and they don’t follow you around. They just asked if they can assist you with finding any product.

The reviews are true they DO follow you around the store especially if you’re colored. That’s why I ask in advance if they carry a certain product and for them to walk me to the isle because I know I’ll feel less uncomfortable. This a a very weird business but since it’s close to home I come here sometimes. If you can avoid it don’t come here !!!

I had a deeply upsetting experience at The Hot Beauty in Passaic that I feel obligated to share. From the moment I walked in, I was met with suspicious stares and cold energy that made me feel like I didn’t belong. As a paying customer, I expected at least basic respect but instead, I was treated like a problem. What’s worse is the clear racial profiling that seems to be standard practice here. I was followed around the store, watched like a criminal, and made to feel incredibly uncomfortable especially during checkout, where the staff’s attitude was rude and dismissive for no reason other than how I look. It was humiliating and completely uncalled for. No one should have to pay to be disrespected. If this is how The Hot Beauty treats people of color, they don’t deserve our business. Do better.
