Shiatsu of Pasadena

I’ve been here 3 times at this point and all three times have been amazing. It’s my massage place in the area. The price is reasonable, accepts cash, card, Venmo and Zelle. For parking, there is parking on the streets for 2 hours or they have their own parking lot at the back of the store with 2-4 spots on average. I got the combo and shiatsu and I would say shiatsu really helped me relief my muscle soreness and strains. The masseuses will not be gentle on you—they will do it, hard. Of course depends on your request. Very clean place and tidy, warm and welcoming front desk, and I am always looking forward to the snacks they bring out after the massage. The place is not only aesthetically pleasing but does a good job.

I had an amazing combination massage with Jenny! I felt like Jenny was very competent and thorough, and she made adjustments based on my pain points. She checked in regularly on pressure level as well. The space is clean and has a peaceful ambience. The only annoyance is that the walls are not sound proof, so my time was interrupted by construction or other neighborly noises.

Great experience—my whole body’s sore, especially around the shoulder blades and shoulders. Kelly worked on me with super professional techniques, and there was no hard selling during the session. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t like how the therapist dismissed my feelings of being TICKLED and insisted that it was not her problem initially, but it went well later as she puts more pressure and made adjustments. If you choose the combo experience, there is a part when she uses two fingers to glide you quickly in oil, and it was uncomfortable for me as I tense up from the ticklish sensations. I told her it was too gentle but she had trouble understanding English, and thought I wanted her to be gentle. Later she complained I acted as if there was too much pressure

Been coming here for years, tell folks it’s a gem in Pasadena. I’m concerned they are under new ownership, perhaps sold out for a payday (go for it). Unbelievably worst massage I’ve ever had. I left in same amount of pain as I went in. Perhaps more bc I couldn’t stop thinking about how I wanted to get up, leave and give the money to my partner for a better more efficient job. 😐👍🏽 I may try again, if it is under prior ownership due to previous record. If this is just some corporate conglomerate portfolio’s padder now - everyone should stay away. 86

I’m convinced this place is a hidden gem on purpose. Because this technique is incredible. It’s not your ordinary massage. This is for people looking for relief and medicine in the technique.
