I went to Bravo Salon looking for a shag-style haircut and wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s been hard to find someone who can do it right. Monique did a fantastic job and gave me exactly what I was hoping for. It’s one of the best haircuts I’ve had, and I’m really happy with the results. I’d definitely recommend her!
I had the most incredible experience at this salon. The salon itself was clean and very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. My appointment with Ruth was absolutely wonderful! She listened to all of my concerns, worked with my wishes for how I wanted my hair to look, and adjusted for my hair type and styling preferences. For the first time ever, I walked out of a salon with my hair looking exactly how I pictured it in my head! Ruth was also super sweet and so much fun to talk to! I highly recommend this salon!
I'm not one to write reviews often, only when I've had a notably bad or VERY good experience. I hadn't had a haircut in ages and was really looking forward to one this season. As customers, we want everything to go smoothly. I booked my appointment, but the day before, my stylist, Rose, messaged me saying she's sick and didn't go to work. I didn't mind so I wished her a fast recovery and rescheduled for two weeks later. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, just before driving 30 miles to the salon, I messaged Rose countless times before my 5 pm appointment. No response. I drove to the salon with still no reply. While on the way, I called the salon to double-check. They couldn't find my name or appointment. I mentioned I rescheduled with Rose, and they said they'd double-check and call me back. Keep in mind, I'm on my way, an hour's drive. I never got a call back, despite calling twice. Meanwhile, I received a message from Rose at 4:15 pm saying, 'Did the salon not tell you? I'm sick again...' I was about to arrive at the salon at 4:25 pm. I turned around and went home. Later, the salon called, asking if I was there for my 5:10 pm appointment. To keep this short, the salon is very disorganized, lacks responsibility. I'm disappointed. I canceled my appointment, but they wanted me to reschedule again! Crazy. I declined. Anyways, I hope this serves as a warning. It might be a misunderstanding, but honestly, I'm a patient person, and I feel like I was taken advantage of.

I love Salon Bravo! The owner Monique is pretty awesome! I leave the salon feeling like a million. I get so many compliments.
I've had the same stylist for over ten years but her salon is hours away and it is hard for me to make this trip as a mom now so I wanted to find someone in the Pasadena area. On my first attempt at another salon, I let the front desk assign me a stylist and I ended up with tiger stripes. Desperate for a color correction with a skilled person, I booked this salon's chief colorist for a consultation after reading reviews. However, don't expect to choose your stylist at Bravo. I made an appointment for a consultation with one stylist and when I arrived, I was being put with another stylist (without being notified by phone or email prior) and couldn't see the stylist I selected unless I was a "friend of a friend". The online booking system shouldn't allow for booking of a particular stylist if that stylist won't see you due to the pure fact that you are a new client. This unwritten policy is unfair and the receptionist did not communicate well. Now knowing that I was coming in as a new client unhappy about the switch done without my knowledge, I was rebooked in the afternoon by the receptionist with my selected stylist then cancelled 10 min later because the stylist refused to see me again due to me being new. This business is being run like a sorority. I do know some women in the community that come to Bravo from seeing names of other reviewers so I could get a referral if I wanted one but I'm no longer interested. I'm still in shock about how I was treated.
Rose is awesome , she gave me a great blowout for a special event I had!!! Thank you Bravo Salon for awesome customer service as well!!
