Burke Williams Day Spa

The place is nice. The staff was pleasant. And the massage was A++. But did annoyed me was the first 10 minutes was constant talking and laughing by staff outside my door. Was really hard to concentrate. Still left a tip for the masseuse but did mentioned it to the front desk. And was typically waiting for a response like, ok well remind staff. Nope, all the said , next time we will just have you in another room. Really, really? So that is why my review is as it is. Sorry but that’s how I feel. Sticking to it.

Their massage therapists are really great, especially Tev, who is a master healer. Lovely facilities and amenities. I love the aromatherapy towels and tea. I wish they had a cold room or cold pool, too. That would make it perfect.

Between the steam room, whirlpool, and serene lounge areas, you can easily spend hours unwinding here. Burke Williams Spa in Pasadena is always such a great experience! I have been here a few times already. This time, I just got a Pure Relaxation massage with the Therapist JENNIFER and it was simply PERFECT. 💯 🌿 Perfect level of pressure as I asked, relaxing and very professional. I ll definitely come back and I recommend it 100%! Super clean space and very friendly and helpful staff, thank you so much, it was a priceless moment! ❤️ As always. 🙏

Four of us booked massages on their site. However, when we checked in, I was told that my reservation was cancelled since I never confirmed it. I had no idea that they confirm via email despite the fact that they ask for a cell phone number on the reservation form. Two of the four received calls to confirm the reservation and two of us didn't. Those of of us who didn't confirm ended up getting a half hour service because that was all that was available. We were quickly given a "tour" of the facility and walked to the women's locker. As we walked by the jacuzzi, we noticed four women talking in a normal tone, not in a "quiet voice," so we followed the lead when we went in the jacuzzi. Soon after one of the women who were cleaning came and told us to speak in a "quiet voice." We were only told this after the other group of women who were speaking as "loudly" as we were left. My 30 minute massage was average. The mirrors on the vanity mirrors are kind of a waste as they don't light up. Additionally, the one I used was so dirty that it was difficult to see anything. The blow dryers seemed to be on the weaker/older side. It was impressive to see so many products available in the locker room (facial cleanser, moisturizer, lotion, etc). However, use it with care as the lotions are extremely heavy and take forever to absorb. They also leave a greasier feeling that I'd like. Fortunately, the exit procedure was relatively painless, although the woman at who charged for our service did try to sell us the products that were recommended. Definitely not for me given their thick/greasy nature. I recommend this place if there are no other options. However, I'll stick to my local massage salon or make the trek to Glen Ivy. My first experience didn't wow me enough to return.
