Beauty Island Spa

I had a 60 minute massage at beauty island spa with Shirley. When I called, I told her instead of buying a Groupon, I would just pay her in cash since I didn’t want the money to go to Groupon as a small business. She said great and confirmed the appointment time. She rescheduled the appointment to have me come in at 2:30 instead of 3pm. We started the massage at 2:45. She massaged me for 15 minutes and then started putting these machines on me. I asked her what she was doing and she told me the Groupon was only a body slimming massage and only 30 minutes actual hand massage. Looking at the Groupon, it doesn’t say there are any machines used. I told her I was in a lot of pain and would prefer a regular massage. She just kept insisting this would be better. She ended up getting upset but I didn’t know what to do. I felt stressed out and she massaged me for a few extra minutes. I said thank you and paid her in cash. I left without her saying thank you. I won’t be coming back and I would be careful about purchasing a Groupon from here. Honestly, I wish I had purchased it on Groupon because I think it’s super deceiving to say it’s a 60 minute massage when it isn’t.

Came in for a facial last week and had such a good experience. The space is clean and relaxing, and everything felt very professional. My skin looked brighter and felt smoother after the treatment, it had a really healthy, refreshed glow. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I had a Green Peel treatment at Beauty Island Spa, and by the fifth day, I could clearly see that my fine lines had faded and my pores appeared smaller. The treatment cost $180, and my esthetician Shirley was incredibly professional. The entire experience made me feel safe, relaxed, and well taken care of. The spa itself is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back for follow-up treatments!

I have been coming to Beauty Island for over 3 years now. I used to be able to walk to the old location so I was a little bummed they moved, but the new location is lovely, parking is relatively easy, and so convenient to go to the Korean supermarket afterwards. I have decided to invest more into my health and beauty and coming to Shirley a couple times a month is my way of taking care of myself. Well actually she takes care of me! The facials and massages are wonderful, it's great to do both.i deserve it. You deserve it! 👏

I had an incredible experience at Shirley’s facial shop. I did Eyebrow Reshaping (where she used a combination of waxing, scissors, and other tools to reshape my brows perfectly to suit my face), as well as a Facial session. Worth mentioning Shirley incorporated a brief but powerful massage while waiting for the face mask to set. When I say powerful, I mean she’s got some serious strength in her hands..... It's clear that Shirley has a wealth of experience. And my jaw literally dropped when I learned her actual age—no spoilers, but you’ll be amazed if you ask her yourself! 😊 Go check it out!!

Worst Place Yesterday I went for the 1st time for 30 min Oxygen Facial, 15 min she was just talking to convince me to get deep cleaning facial worth $180, eye brows and facial removal even though I didn't ask her. Wasting my time. For 5 min she did machine massage, 5 min hand and shoulder massage while I was there for Facial only. She pushed my skin so hard to remove black heads that today I have 3 more acne, redness on my skin. Really disappointed.

Beauty Island Spa's Shirley is wonderfully talented and caring. She points out what my skin needs with no judgment. The Spa now has a massage machine, too, for a quick relaxation treat!
