Professional from start to finish! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and taken to my private room. The woman who performed my treatment really curated the experience to me. I appreciated how she asked for my preference at every step - and not just the standard "do you want more or less pressure" - but also, how often I wanted to be informed of where we were in the process, and how I wanted to allot the time to different portions. She was fantastic! And my scalp/hair felt really clean and healthy afterwards. I will definitely be back 🙂

I brought my teenage daughter and several of her friends to this spa for a birthday party. The staff were so accommodating and helpful with booking the party. The treatment rooms were beautiful and relaxing, with soft music playing and aromatherapy diffusers adding to the ambiance. All of the girls raved about how amazing the experience was, how nice everything felt, and how soft their hair was after treatment. I can’t wait to come back for my own scalp treatment!

Great location Much better than Irvine location Staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. They clearly explain each step and what products they use. And most importantly they don’t force you to tip after spending 200 bucks on a treatment. Will be coming back for sure!

I hesitated on writing this review but I feel like I have to warn people. DO NOT come here if you have curly hair!! I wanted to do a head spa with my friend who is half African American, so she has curly hair. I wanted to make sure this experience would be enjoyable for her as well so I searched up and down for a head spa place that could handle curly hair. I found PureLux, and noticed that Kim Kardashian comes here and brings her daughter North, so I figured they had to have experience with curly hair. Then I saw someone ask on their Tik Tok if they have experience with curly hair, to which they replied "yes". Then I called this Newport location TO ASK AND MAKE SURE they have experience with curly hair, if there is a specific technician we need to book with, if there is a specific package we need to book, or if there was a comment we needed to leave when we booked and I was assured by the lady over the phone that none of that was necessary and ALL of their hair techs have experience with curly hair. Which is why I was shocked and infuriated when my friend got out of her appointment with her hair absolutely destroyed. The hair tech ever so clearly DID NOT have experience with curly hair. My friend’s hair was so matted and knotted after. She had to spend the rest of the day detangling her hair, luckily she knows how to do it herself because who knows how much that would’ve cost at a salon. So when my friend walked out of the room she paid for the service and I didn’t know anything went wrong. We walked outside and were talking to our other friend when the receptionist came up and asked if something was wrong. My friend just tried brushing it off and saying it was fine, the receptionist apologized, offered to discount the service if she wanted to come back and went back inside. Then I asked her what happened, that’s when she explained to me that her hair was completely dry and knotted. I was so furious because of all I went through to make sure they could accommodate her hair. At this point my friend was in tears because of what happened. Then the receptionist came back and gave her a scalp mask, a $20 off coupon and she offered to comp the service if she wanted to come back. That’s when our other friend asked her if she could give my friend a refund for the service because of what they did, and the lady did oblige. When we walked back inside I kept asking how this could’ve happened when I was assured that they had experience with curly hair and she just kept saying she didn’t know and all of their hair techs SHOULD have experience with curly hair (there’s a vast difference between should have experience and actually do have experience). THEN they told me I should’ve booked with "Olivia", apparently she has curly hair and can do the treatment for people with curly hair. THAT’S LITERALLY WHAT I ASKED WHEN I CALLED! Is there someone specific I have to book with, and they said no! I have relatively straight hair, so my experience was fine and my hair came out soft but I will never be coming back here after what they did to my friend, and I’ve definitely told my family and friends, especially those with curly hair. Find somewhere else if you have curly hair, or if you want to come here ask when Olivia is working

Took the girlfriend for her birthday and it was perfect. Very relaxing 10/10 would do again!
