I almost want to gatekeep this place because Patty is a MAGICIAN. As soon as I walked in, she clocked my hair type and told me the style I chose was perfect for my texture and face shape. She expertly took off a ton of bulk (I have super thick heavy hair that can get very flat) without losing the length and gave me gorgeous layers and a V-shape in the back with face-framing curtain bangs. I had botched my DIY bang trims and she kindly told me how to do them in the future so it blends better and where to stop along the hairline. I felt so incredibly welcome and it was an incredibly good deal for $45 for a wash, dry and cut. She can also do just a dry cut. I've searched for a good hairstylist forever and Patty, you have a FAN FOREVER. Thank you for the beautiful mane!

Patty was incredible! She gave so much attention to detail and tailored the cut to my specific hair texture and volume and discussed her thinking thoroughly with me before cutting. Beyond her technical skills, Patty is a great conversationalist who made me feel cared for; she gave me in-depth advice on how to wash, style, and care for my hair and scalp. The BEST hair salon! Affordable, and amazing. The owner is the sweetest, and knows what she’s doing. She does dry cut to accurately cut hair in its natural state. And it’s affordable! The address in Apple Maps isn’t correct but the one on Google is.

Absolutely love Patty! She’s the best. I described what I wanted and she provided her opinion on what would look best for my hair type and look. - Make sure to call/book appointment in advance - Super affordable, but make sure you bring cash! This is not a 100 haircut, I’d budget for around $60. - convenient location off the D train — Edit: Adding photos from my latest visit. Another day another slay by Patty! Amazing experience! Very small business so you will have to call and schedule ahead of time and remember to bring cash. Patty was great! I went there with a few ideas of what i wanted and took the time to help me choosing the right one! My hair is very fine and thin, which makes it quite hard to cut it precisely. But she took her time to cut it just great! I had an amazing time and I believe this was my best haircut experience in New York, so far. Not only I am satisfied with my new haircut but also with the very affordable price (30-40$ women). I definitely recommend this small hair salon!

I’ve been getting my haircut in Chinatown since I was a little kid so my sister found Pattie from a tiktok recommendation & told me to get my next cut here! Pattie was so so nice and we had such a great time discussing what it was that I wanted + just chit chatting about life. Made my Sunday morning a little brighter being able to get a service done with her! Cash only and she likes doing dry cuts 🙂
