I’ve been coming to this salon for over 10 years after trying just about every well-known spot in Midtown, and nothing compares. Michael is absolutely exceptional with color — whether it’s balayage, highlights, or a full transformation, his technique is fast, precise, and always beautiful. He has a great eye for what suits you and makes the whole experience feel effortless. The salon itself is bright, spotless, and welcoming, with a convenient central location. Ainur, the other stylist, is also fantastic — professional, talented, and equally committed to making clients look their best. After all these years, I can confidently say this is the best salon in the area, thanks to Michael and the amazing team.

I loved the salon! I had the best experience and also left with the nicest nails too! Yuliya was awesome and super detailed! She took very good care of my cuticles and left my nails looking very fresh with the perfect shape. I’m definitely coming back 10/10

*THIRD REPOST as the owner deleted it AGAIN. like i state below, untruthful and shady! feel free to keep deleting it, i’ll continue to check & repost every day 🙂 i'm not going to silently let you scam me out my money - so i hope this was worth it! TLDR for anyone who is considering booking this salon: they charged me TWICE for the same service and left me with a botched color job so now i'm suing them in small claims court 🙂 - If you’re looking for a botched "color correction" and to get SCAMMED out of your money, felicitations - this salon is for you! This salon is an affiliate of License to Glow. If you don’t know what LTG is, it’s a beauty subscription service. One of the services that you can book is a full coloration, which is exactly what I did. My hair was already lightened to pink before I arrived. Now I’ll admit the pink wasn’t dyed evenly on my head, but I was planning to dye my hair to a darker color which is much simpler as we don’t need to go through a lengthy color corrective service and the dye can just be deposited onto my hair directly. Even though my full coloration was apart of the LTG full coloration service, they charged me an extra $150 to do my roots. They also refused to give me a receipt unless I paid with Zelle, and it wasn’t even a receipt! Michael just wrote down "bleach - 150" on a NOTEPAD!!!! I didn’t realize it until I had already paid! And THEN I find out, after talking to LTG customer service, roots are included in the full coloration!!!! They reach out to Poiz who says that my hair was uneven and they performed a color correction service. Which, again, is not true because Michael told ME it was the price for bleaching my roots. Had he said it was color corrective I would have checked to make sure before I left because I know for a fact that that man did not touch my hair with bleach beyond the root! Now I want you to take a look at these photos. They either suck at their job or scammed me out of my money because NO WAY is this acceptable! Don’t ignore the 1-star reviews and the gaslighting responses from the salon. They are JUST as deceptive and nefarious as they appear. I reached out saying that unless I receive a refund, I will be taking this to small claims. So to that I end with a final message: SEE YOU IN COURT!

Ainur is the best!! I moved out of NYC but I still make a point to get my hair done with her when I come back to visit. She does a great job blending with my natural hair and it grows out so nicely!

Two years ago I was in NY visiting and stumbled across Poiz where I got a blowout from Ainur. Since then, I’ve returned quite a few times, not to mention, all the way from Philadelphia. There is no one that cuts and blow dries / styles my hair better than Ainur. That said, my hair is no easy feat and when I find someone who can master it, I stick with them. I’ll continue traveling from Philly to get my haircuts and blow outs from Ainur. 10/10 recommend!!!

Anuir & Michael were so welcoming and took genuine care in understanding my hair history. I had recently experienced some damage to my hair due to over-processing (elsewhere) & Anuir did an amazing job of bringing it back to life. A couple months later and it has remained in improved condition & I am looking forward to returning for a touch-up soon!

Michael did an amazing job with my color! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and absolutely delightful. I left feeling so happy with the results. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic salon experience!
