I had my appointment with Patricia and I am SO happy with the results! I was going from washed-out, box-dyed, red hair to a beautiful blonde balayage. She was super gentle with my hair and very honest about what we can expect since my hair had been processed and damaged before. I really appreciated with honesty. We ended up getting even better results than we initially expected! The color lifted and toned beautifully, the texture feels fresh and healthy, and the blonde is so beautifully blended with my natural darker roots. There is a wonderful energy in the room from all the staff and happy customers. Patricia was very patient and kind throughout the whole process! Highly recommend booking with Patricia if you are thinking about going blonde maintaining current blonde, or just a cut!

I feel so grateful to have been referred to Calo Studio, specifically Viviana. Everyone in Calo Studio is so warm & welcoming. My experience there is always positive. Viviana has been cutting & coloring my hair for over 4 years & she is the absolute best at what she does. She listens to what I want for my hair, gives great perspective & advice, & she brings my vision to life. I always leave feeling seen & beautiful. My hair is very thick & can be difficult. It takes a lot of time & patience. Vivi is so gifted with hair & does a perfect job every time. I could not recommend her more!

Scarlett is amazing! This was my first time ever dying my hair, and she made the whole process really fun. She gave me a great haircut and the highlights came out so beautiful. I’m honestly obsessed. The studio also has such a good vibe. Everyone working there that day was so sweet and into what they were doing, which made the experience even better. I was there for hours, but Scarlett kept me comfortable, entertained, and feeling totally taken care of. Such a great experience. highly recommend!

Calo Studio is by far the best salon I have ever been to, and I’m not exaggerating! Every employee is a delight, kind, experienced, and have the quality of EXCELLENT customer service. Viviana has now done my hair a handful of times (color,cut,blowout,etc.) and I can say without a doubt she is the most knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy artist (that’s what she is she’s an artist when it comes to hair). You can tell (and she says it many times in one appointment) how much she loves her job and making people happy through all her services. I would trust Viviana ENDLESSLY. She will tell you if something isn’t a good idea and back it up with good reason.. but then turn around and give you something better than you imagined. The color she gives my hair is unbelievable. Best hair salon in Hell’s Kitchen!!! Ivan is truly so skilled, professional, and talented with hair! I came in to fix a bob from a different salon and he made it perfect! Turned out just like the photo I showed him. The best bob haircut ever! So blessed for this amazing salon! It’s truly a gem here in nyc!

I love getting my haircut at Calo! Everyone is so nice as soon as you walk into the door. Scarlett is always amazing with my cuts. She knows exactly what I am looking to get done and makes sure it looks great. Plus, always a great conversation while in the chair! Highly recommend Calo and Scarlett!

I cannot say enough good things about this salon! I live in the neighborhood and was in the market for a new salon, based on the Google reviews I decided to give Calo a shot. Viviana really took the time to get to know me and my vision for my hair. Then explained in detail what she was doing and how we could improve it to suit my lifestyle and face. I’m in love with my haircut and can’t wait to go back.
