Burte Lash & Nail

I've been going to Burte for almost a year now for my manicures. This business is full of the sweetest and most talented people! I've been seeing Brenda and she makes my nails look fabulous; I always get tons of compliments. The gel manicures last a while and my natural nails have been able to grow really well. The salon is always clean and has a calming atmosphere. So happy to be a regular here!

EDIT: I was asked to take this review down in exchange for 30% off a service. I really don’t like writing negative reviews for small businesses, especially when they are woman owned. The first time I was here for a structured gel manicure, Ari was great. She spoke to me like we had been friends forever and I really enjoyed the service. Yesterday I was back and was paired with Brenda. While doing cuticle prep, I was cut in various places (the one on my middle finger hurt really bad) and the application of the polish wasn’t as close to the cuticle as I like. It looks like it’s already grown out. Some positives: the salon has a cozy atmosphere and a nice color selection.

I’ve been going to Ari for my lashes for over three years and she’s truly the best. I originally lived nearby, which is how I found her, but even after moving, I still go out of my way to see her. She’s both incredibly personable and professional, and I love how my lashes turn out every single time. I’ve more recently started getting my nails done here as well, and every technician I’ve seen has done an amazing job. Everyone is friendly, honest, and professional, and the environment is welcoming and relaxing. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

My favorite nail salon in the neighborhood and in the city! I’ve had a hard time finding a good, consistent spot but everyone who has done my nails at Burte has been amazing! Ari did this cat eye set, highly recommend!

This salon is a gem in New York! Their lash and nail artists are incredibly skilled, detail-oriented, and so sweet. My lash set is lightweight and perfectly customized, and my nails have never looked better. The salon itself is spotless, organized, and beautifully designed — you can feel the professionalism as soon as you walk in. I left feeling refreshed and confident. Five stars all the way!

I discovered Burte lash & nail over the summer and have been going once a month ever since. It has helped me quit my skin picking habit. The atmosphere is so relaxing and they are the best gel manicures I’ve gotten. My natural nails have grown long and strong under the gel! Every technician I’ve had - Crystal, Ari and Brenda is an artist who has a high level of skill, gives so much attention to detail and care! I love coming here.

After doing a ton of research on nail spots in Fidi, I found Burte and am so glad I did! I’ve done cat eye and a design with Ari and she does SUCH a good job. The cuticle care made a huge difference with my nails not looking super grown out before my next manicure. The location is adorable, incredibly clean, and everyone is lovely. Highly recommend!
