I can’t say enough good things about Made to Slay Salon! Sydni is absolutely incredible — she completely transformed my hair! The color turned out perfect and my highlights have never looked so bright and dimensional. She really knows how to make your hair pop while keeping it healthy and shiny. The whole experience was fun, relaxing, and professional from start to finish. I just started getting extensions and still new to it so I didn't know what to expect for pricing. I was charged over $2000 initially by my first stylist which was an overcharge according to Sydni at made Ya slay.. but the first stylist said upkeep would only be $150... And color would be $80... Yet my first upkeep appt was over $500.. So I was already so sad and frustrated. I then found made Ya slay and told them what happened... And they did the same exact thing 😫.. They said move up would be $90 but it ended up being a reinstall (which is $150 everywhere else) but she charged me $350... And my blonde roots in the front... $220... Once again I was charged over $500 for my extensions to be moved up and my blonde roots in the front to be touched up. I just wish hair salons would be more up front and transparent with pricing instead of waiting until the end. I keep getting soft sold and then charged almost triple what I'm expecting. Please just be honest with customers when they walk in so they aren't stuck panicking at the end of an appointment with hair already done and not expecting a $570 check. Not to mention my appointment was at 11 and we didn't get started until 12:30 You'd think they'd be a little more compensating... Edit: Thank you for your response to the situation. However, it was never clearly communicated before we started how much the services would be as a client who has not had extensions nor understands the processes. It would be helpful to tell the client before beginning that the process would cost $500 instead of the $90 I was quoted. Other salons charge $150 for a "re install" and for a root touch up on a partial front of the hair is typically $90-$120. Transparency before the services begin would be best so clients aren't left at the end of a visit with a bill 4x what they expected. Thank you again for your response!

Makayla is the most welcoming, talkative, and genuine service provider I’ve ever had an appointment with. We have taken my hair every color together, curtain bangs, bang bangs, bobs, feathers, you name it we have tried it and had a good time laughing while doing it!!

Makayla has been cutting my hair for almost 5 years. She's a sweetheart. She's AMAZING with colors and fixing other people's messes.

Sydni is absolutely AMAZING!!! I constantly get told my hair looks amazing and it’s because of her amazing skill sets! Not only is she an amazing stylist and master colorist but she’s really cool and easy to talk to! She recently did my son’s hair for summer and HE LOVES IT! Definitely book with her! 10000/10 recommend!

Sydni did an excellent job bringing my hair back to life. Mckayla was also very sweet and finished my blowout. The suite has really cute decor, I loved the way they had it decorated; it was also very clean. It's a win-win booking with either of them. I definitely look forward to going back. Thank you both!

My favorite days are when it's time to get my hair done by Makayla! I have been getting full highlights every 8 weeks for the past couple of years with her and she not only lightens my hair perfectly every time but also keeps me dying laughing with her hilarious advice to whatever is happening in my life at that time.
