The best experience I’ve ever had. I drove an hour from Philly just to come to Soleil Luna and it was definitely worth the drive. Micayla is a master of curls. Been a curly girl all my life and have been traumatized with past experiences of people not knowing how to cut my hair properly. Micayla made me look and feel beautiful. It was nice to see her work her magic. You can tell she’s passionate about her craft. I loved it.

If you have curly hair and are looking for an experienced and relatable stylist you have to book with Micayla! She’s certified & educated in curly hair and is amazing. After a consult and really getting to know how I style my hair, she gave me a dry-cut, wash, and style. I have honestly never felt more myself after leaving a salon. She gave great tips/tricks and advice on how to continue the curly hair method and made sure I was comfortable every step of the cut. The salon itself is very clean and modern. The atmosphere is comfy and welcoming. The owner was so sweet and everyone was very accommodating and hospitable. The prices were VERY reasonable. This was a very affordable price for the quality of the experience. I will be booking again for cuts and color. As someone who has struggled to find a stylist that understands and can personally relate to have curly hair, I am so thankful to have found Micayla.

Ive been having my hair done by Maya for a while now, she is 100% great. She takes her time and does a amazing job. I dont do anything crazy with my hair just a cut and layers. She always does a great job.

I moved out to the burbs from Philly a year ago and had still been trekking back to the city for my hair because it's so hard to put your trust in a new stylist. But that commute was getting harsh and expensive and anyway I needed to find a place for my daughter to eventually get her hair cut out here, so on a friend's recommendation (and a plethora of Facebook recc's) I booked an appointment with Maya at Soleil Luna. I chose Maya because of her profile saying she specializes in curly hair. Though I haven't committed to trying a curly cut specifically, my hair is wavy-curly with some S's and some coils, so someone who knows their way around a curl is helpful. Maya is exactly the kind of stylist I needed. My appointment with her was super chill and relaxing -- we talked a bit but mostly I just relaxed in the chair while she did her thing. She's super precise and methodical about her cuts in my experience. We talked about concerns I had with previous stylists making my bangs too heavy, getting me caught in a cycle of growing out my bangs to try again only to have the same issue, and she totally nailed the look I was going for in the end and helped blend back in the chunky heavy part I'd grown out. Knowing I am ultimately aiming for longer hair, she cut the back in a way that actually makes it look longer. Like it's just the thoughtfulness for me, y'all. And she cuts kids hair too, so me and my daughter (who seems to be getting curlier hair than me!) can have the same stylist which I think is super convenient! I feel like I found my dream match on the first try. Thank you, Maya!

Tracy's great! She has a ton of experience in the field and always knows how best to support you through your hair journey. I am still very inexperienced in taking proper care of my hair and the entire Soleil Luna staff always pitches in to make sure I know what I'm doing. Always always recommend and refer Soleil Luna.

I went to this salon to go from a slight red to my natural brown with caramel highlights. Although they "claim" otherwise, I was never informed that it would possibly take multiple appointments to color correct the red out. After she had color corrected, she said "there’s still a little red but it will fade out". She never stated that we would need another appointment to continue to fix it. She then put brown dye (I’m guessing that’s what it was) over it. I asked for my natural hair color which was visible. The top part of my hair turned out basically blonde. The bottom part of my hair is red and a dark brown. It doesn’t even go all the way to my roots. I spent $360 on a terrible hair job. I called and simply asked for a refund and they said the only thing they could do was dye over it one color and anything else to fix it I would have to pay for. Absolutely ridiculous! Unless you’re getting something basic, do NOT go to this salon! I left crying and I’ve been crying for the past two days and can’t even look at myself in the mirror.

So happy with this salon. The girls are wonderful. My daughter’s stylist, Micayla did an amazing job with the color. Exactly what my daughter’s stylist wanted!!
