I got BLACKMAILED!! I did not feel welcome as a new customer or a valued customer. The staff was speaking Spanish among themselves. At the door was said "Masks are mandatory for everyone" but no staff was wearing masks during my stay there. I had an appointment with the owner for eyelash extensions (I don't even know her name, she did not introduce herself). She was rude and arrogant. When she took me into the room, the door remained open. When I was placed on the bed, the first thing she asked me was, who did my microblading eyebrows. Then she said that they are horrible and whoever did it they did a horrible job, she repeated several times. Then right after she said I have very greasy skin. I have never felt more judged like here today. This wasn't none of her business and totally unrelated to my appointment.  When she placed tapes under my eyes, she told me that if I continue to blink so much she will not be able to do her job. She said that I have stuff in my head, I have to clear my head and calm down otherwise she will not be able to proceed. At this point I was frustrated even more. So I asked her to maybe play some music in the background, because there was no music. I finally calmed down and she was able to apply lashes. During my appointment, her colleague kept coming in asking her for something in Spanish and interrupting her work. She seemed uneasy and was inhaling deeply a lot and was placing her tools next to my head pretty loudly and aggressively. After she was done, the lashes were sooo long, I asked for medium and they were not done to the most outer corner. At the beginning I said that I would like to have cat eye style lashes. This was not even close to cat eye style. Then when I pointed out  that the most outer corner should have some more, she said that I don't have any real lashes there but when I got home, I looked into a magnifying mirror and I saw my lashes there. Plus there was a last eyelash that she applied and is sticking out. At the end she assumed that I would tip her and asked how I wanted to leave the tip (cash or on the card) instead of saying would you like to leave the tip. I was very unhappy and I didn’t want to leave the tip. She also wanted me to make an appointment in 2 weeks, but I didn’t because I said I want to see how long they are going to last. When I went to someone else before, those lashes would last 4-6 weeks. I also told her this and she was clinically laughing saying how that person must have used gorilla glue. And now after day 4 I already lost 20% of the lashes! One week later: I got blackmailed!!! This is an addition to my previous review. After just 1 week of having the eyelashes and loosing 50% of lashes, I called the salon requesting to fix this or to get my money back. The owner who did my lashes (refused to say her name) told me that she can fix it only if I remove my "horrible" review, as she called it. Of course that is not fair for me to do for the other customers. So I told her that I can't do that. She started yelling over the phone and lying how she spent 3 hours doing the lashes (when my appointment was 1 hour) and that she will never give me my money back. She never apologized or felt shameful and embarrassed for the poor job she did. Instead she was blackmailing me several times and demanding that I remove my review. She does not deserve to be in this business and give service. I wasted my money and time. She did a horrible, horrible job.

Very nice lady who does hair for 30 years. My hair was dry but after the treatment and the hair dye it looks healthy again!!! Very pleasant experience!!!! Strongly recommend to everybody to come!

I have been a customer for over a year now and cannot imagine going anywhere else. My hair was severely damaged, so was my daughter's hair and Marleni restored our hair back to normal. The products she uses are all organic which I love; even the nail polish. My whole family are customers of Marleni. She truly knows her craft. My husband's hair and beard were a mess before he came here. We all feel extremely loved and blessed when we visit this hair salon. We all have had nothing but a great experience and I highly recommend.

I was looking for someone new to do my color (brunette to very light blond) after having someone else do a low quality job at a top rated salon. My hair was dry and somewhat orange in some areas. Marleni did an amazing job! She explains what she’s doing and takes all of your input. She has been doing this for years and knows best! I come to her for my hairs cuts now too and she did an amazing job with that as well. Clean salon and private area, so you get full attention.

Marleni is a true talent with eyebrows! She is precise and thorough. Recently I asked her to make my brows a little thinner...she really listened and checked with me along to the way to make sure I was happy with the outcome. The result was the best brow shape I've had in years. I've also gotten a blow out and pedicure at Caromia and they were all excellent. This salon is a total gem!

Found the salon about two months ago was a little nervous to cut and color my hair, but Marleni was super awesome and did such a fantastic job with helping pick the perfect style and color. I got so many complements and loving it very much. If you are looking for a hair stylist and more she is the women to come see!!
