AKYISH Japanese Retreat & Spa

I've been coming to this salon for a little over a decade and won’t go anywhere else. No one else has truly cared about my nail health. There's no rushing you from station to station to get you out the door. My nails curve naturally and they take time to shape and protect them from breaking. My natural nails are super long and strong—people always ask if they’re fake! The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog. The designs and care they’ve done for me over the years have been amazing, and I always leave (and return) happy. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Akyish for over 10 years! They've been the best thing to happen to my nails. Whether I need something simple / elegant or funky / trendy, they take care of me every time. They care about the health of your nails and spend tons of time prepping your nails before adding any color. I always get compliments on my nails and it's all due to Akyish!

I’ve been going to see Tina for a year now so I can confidently say this is the best place to get your nails done. They have an allocated time slot since it’s by appointment only so they are not rushed at all. Meaning no nicked bloody cuticles! Tina does any amazing job cleaning and prepping the nail bed. The manicures last a good 4 weeks depending on how fast your nails grow with no chipping at all. It does take about 1.5 to 2 hours but it’s worth it. This is now the only salon I will let touch my nails.

Super nice and patient. They do great work and take your opinions seriously. A little pricy but the service is great and would like to come back. Did the gel manicure and regular pedicure. Also got the deep cleansing facial which was so relaxing, I fell asleep!

Love this place! The atmosphere is so relaxing and they do amazing work with all the patience in the world (it took an hour and a half to do the design I wanted). I've only been here once, but I'm definitely coming back. It's been almost 2 weeks since I got my nails done and in that time I've washed dishes and cleaned the house and my nails still look amazing. Worth every penny!

I have been looking to get a head/scalp spa treatment for a while. AKYISH has always showed up every time I would search those keywords. I saw in their website that they offer a couple Headspa treatments. I decided to go with the Carbonated scalp care ($45/45 mins). The lady who took my appointment over the phone was very sweet and polite. I really liked that they were open until 7:30 because it works with my 8-5 work schedule. The treatment itself was very relaxing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs stress relief after a long day. I do suggest to bring your own comb or any hair products to detangle your hair after the treatment. They do have a blow dryer in the restroom and they will offer it to you for use.

I am incredibly happy with my experience at AKYISH! I reached out via text to schedule a head spa appointment. The response was quick and they had a same day availability. I’ve never had a headspa treatment before so I was unsure what to expect but it was wonderful! Very relaxing and the whole experience was 5 stars. The products used on my hair smelled very nice without being overwhelming. And it’s now the next day my scalp/hair is still feeling and smelling very nice! The head massage and body massage were both beyond what I expected. I’ve attached a photo of the service I did and I highly recommend it. It was 100% worth the price. I’ll be back for sure!
