Veronica's Beauty Salón

I’m sure the owner of Veronica will know exactly who I am. My mom recommended this salon to me after getting her hair done not by the owner but a younger girl that speaks mainly Spanish. My mom’s hair came out really nice. I’m not one to ever get my hair done. But I went ahead and booked an appointment two weeks out. I left a $40 deposit. I was supposed to get a call the day before my appointment which I didn’t. I still showed up to my appointment that was at 10 AM. I was running six minutes late when I got there, the girl that was supposed to do my hair was already working on someone else an older gentleman getting a haircut. She didn’t acknowledge me or say good morning when I walked in so what came to mind was maybe I got my dates messed up or the time messed up So I waited 24 minutes till the gentleman was done with his haircut and she was free. I asked her was my appointment at 10 AM or 1030 and was it today she said it’s today it was at 10 AM but since you were six minutes late I went ahead and took someone else since no one else is working right now except for me. I said ok I didn’t think it was fair that I had to wait all that extra time when I’ve booked an appointment and left a deposit I was quoted $280 for my hair and was obviously willing to pay that I asked her if I would be able to be done by three or if she thought it was gonna take too long Because I had work in the afternoon, she looked at me and said that she would be done in time and I told her I didn’t want her to rush. She didn’t really sound too convincing so I said I don’t think it was fair that you had me waiting there as long as you did. So I asked her for the deposit back she called her manager Veronica She said no refunds that I would just have to schedule for a different day so what I did instead was have my daughter get a haircut so I wouldn’t have to go back the girl tells me it’s gonna be $40 so I thought perfect. That’s the deposit I left when all is said and done my daughter got a really cute haircut and the girl looks at me and says it’s actually$45. I miss quoted you I didn’t realize her hair was so long I pay the extra five dollars. I leave her a tip, but just after the whole waiting, you would’ve thought she would’ve waved those five dollars And the only reason I’m writing this review is because the owner decides to text my mom to let her know that the whole incident was my fault which I find very unprofessional Luckily, I was on the phone with my mom the whole time so she knows exactly what time I got there exactly how long I waited and how she denied the refund of the $40 Which is understandable I didn’t make it a big deal and then went and miss quoted me For my daughter’s haircut, The girl that did my mom‘s hair and cut my daughter‘s hair. Does a great job. The owner really needs to work on her customer service skills..

I had gone in to get a silver hair with black highlights, showed her the inspiration picture and I came out with yellow and brown highlights. I asked the lady why it's yellow and she insisted it wasn't. Again by the end I told her I didn't like the yellow in my hair and she said she'll fix it next appointment. I left with different tones of yellow in my hair, not so well done curls and burnt hair. Unfortunately my hair is still recovering after over a year of getting it done here so I've decided to cut my long hair short( I'm writing this now out of anger I couldn't keep my long hair, yet this is unfortunately exactly how this appointment went). Haven't gone back since and wouldn't recommend anyone going here other than getting a mediocre cut. Edit: as well in the video you can hear the lady gaslight me when telling me my hair wasn't different colors. That "it was just the lighting". After going to another salon returning from my trip (after all I did was washed it once) she let me know the stylist HEAVILY damaged my hair. Even if I had gone back, she would've burnt my hair off.

I nearly never, and I do mean NEVER go to any salon or hair care place, so please keep that in mind! I chose Veronica's because my daughter lives across the street and although it was nearly closing time they could take me. I asked for both color and a cut - the process was comfortable and the color we chose is beautiful. It was expensive as all get out - I bought leave in conditioner and a new brush (22$) and left a 13$ tip : totaled 152$!! I did not get a cut, only a trim because my technician kept telling me my hair had layers (she wasnt wrong) but I could not make her understand that the "layers" were the result of taking a butcher knife to my locks out of frustration and I needed it fixed. Turns out, if you strait iron your hair you can hide the damage....sort of!

This woman knows hair she gave me a great cut and I would definitely recommend her. She speaks Spanish but English also she made me very comfortable and did a great job on my hair . Seriously go check her place out you won’t be disappointed! Good job Veronica thank you so much!

first time client and I'm very selective on where I go to get a hair cut so I read a few reviews and decided to give it a try. I am extremely happy and hugely satisfied with the outcome. Veronica did a fantastic job and even exceeded my expectations. This is a great find right here in Hemet.

I went in for a haircut so they can cut off all of my dead hair. My hair was a bit wet as I walked in so I asked if they can point out what’s dead and damaged so they could just cut it all off and they said they could but when my hair dried up later in the day, I still had damaged hair left. They had good customer service though.

Made an appointment, showed up on time.... Not only was the salon closed, 20 mins later a stylist shows up and scolds me in Spanish. She not only has other appointments but she dosen't do highlights. This was my experience just making the appointment. I will find another place to do my highlights as I value both customer service and what hair I have left. Oh flies everywhere inside.
