Sheena was my stylist, she did an amazing job if i could give 1000/10 stars i would!! I enjoyed every single second in the chair. She was extremely friendly, easy to talk to, upfront and honest and did exactly what i asked! Will be coming back, highly suggest visiting this salon you will be pleased!

Sheena was amazing ! I made the mistake of attempting to cut my own hair and Essex Street Salon was able to fit me in the next day and fix it for me ! Sheena did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and welcome. I felt beautiful by the end and will definitely be back !

I went to Julia after she was recommended to me, and I’m so glad I did! I have red hair, which can be a ~daunting~ bleaching situation for some stylists (completely valid), but Julia was flexible and willing to work with me to get the results I wanted. I also wanted a split dye—and bangs—so overall, not an easy style! I came in regularly after my first appointment, and she was always prompt, professional, and welcoming. I’ve moved recently (too far to return to the salon for regular styling) and will very much miss the charming atmosphere and reasonably priced services. Thank you Essex Street!!

Bethany was great! She was friendly and fast! I had a hard time finding a stylist who could do what I asked for after moving to Haverhill…but she gave me a stylish a-line bob, no problem, easy peasy! I’ll definitely be returning in the future and be trying her for color services too!

I went there today, it's an amazing place, even I don't speak perfect English the ladies understand me, and what I want, she colored my hair and did exactly what I want, the service is nice, the ladies are amazing 👏, I'm so happy of the results. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for your beautiful and professional work, I definitely coming back to your salon 😊

Was not satisfied at all I brought my daughter in for a partial foil, cut and blow-dry. The foils obviously bled into her real color because she lightened her roots as well, and if I wanted my daughters hair lightened I would have asked for that, and she gave me the excuse she will get more time out of this foil. Ya that is false now I have to blend 3 different colors together when her roots start to grow in a month or so. People get foils because they like the contrast of dark and light . Not light and dark ends and then the same color roots all around. But nice try ! The salon does have a friendly atmosphere and cool decor, but I won't be booking another appointment for color.

I went to this hair salon after 3 weeks of waiting for my hair appointment with Julia and I went 15 minutes late due to traffic and rain but when we got in she said she cancelled the appointment and told us you can come another day. I requested this day off work multiple weeks ago and it wasn’t in my cards to come early. I didn’t like her and she was very rude and she didn’t help me with any solutions. Plus, while making the appointment, nothing told me there was a 15 minute policy like how other salons warn you before making an appointment. Not to mention my hair appointment said it was gonna be 2 hours yet she claimed she’ll do my whole service in 35 minutes? Would not recommend.
