Studio 101 Hair Salon

I have gotten my hair done here for years and I have always had the best experience. I have gotten haircuts and perms, and miss Diane is so kind, knowledgeable about hair, and does the best perm I have ever had. I highly recommend the salon. It is quiet and honey and everyone is so nice.

Just tried studio 101 for the first time last Friday. Diane was my stylist and I could not be more pleased. She was personable, courteous, and professional. She did my cut exactly as requested. I am very happy with my results. The place was very clean and conveniently located. I will be a returning client and will also be bringing my child here for her first haircut.

I received the worst haircut of my life from Diane. I came in with beautiful hair that i had been growing out for 3 years, asking for a light trim to clean up the ends, and maybe shorten my layers. Diane proceeded to cut off all of my length, not trim my layers, and completely ruin my confidence. She also completely ruined my face frame and I am forced to live with choppy uneven face framing for months until it grows out. i had to go to a subsequent stylist to fix my hair and said stylist was shocked at how awful my haircut was. I am completely heartbroken that Diane ruined my entire head of hair. 3 major red flags were she never had me face the mirror, she blowdried my hair with her fingers (never once using a tool), which I felt was completely gross, and she did not go about cutting my hair with any precision or care. I watched huge 3-4 inch chunks of hair fall to the floor. We all know how hard it is to tell a stylist you hate your haircut to their face because when they go too short or ruin your hair, you don't trust them to fix it. The attached photos show how careless she was when it came to my face frame and how there is no framing and just cheap choppy cuts. She took way too much hair for the face frame, and it looks really bad when my hair is up, which is tragic given it is summer and I cannot put my hair up in this 100 degree weather. Diane is a kind woman, but i will not be seeing her again which is unfortunate bc prior to this she did a beautiful job on my hair in November of 2021. There is something so traumatic about wanting a simple hair cleanup trim, and having your entire style and length ruined. I had never had long hair before in my life and Diane carelessly cut all of my length off. Be very cautious when coming to this salon, and be sure to be stern and to the point about what you want if you have to schedule with Diane. She has ruined my confidence for at least the next year of my life, and I will never recommend or suggest this salon to anyone in my life.

My husband and I have both been going to William for haircuts for over 10 years. He takes the time to listen and understand exactly what we want, then he gives a perfect haircut, every time. William and the other stylists in the shop are always friendly and professional, and the shop is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend William at Studio 101 to anyone who's looking for a stylist.

Diane is awesome! Not only does she give great haircuts at a very reasonable price, she is a very nice person too! You won't be disappointed if you go to her for your hair care needs.

I’m a male and had medium long hair for a guy, I’m nervous when it comes to haircuts because nobody wants a bad one, especially me. William cut my hair and did great 👍🏼 He really Took his time and walked me through what I wanted, and ask questions about how I wanted it. Great service 10/10!

Always a wonderful experience. William does an excellent job with hair. Very personable and everyone is so attentive to the needs of their clients. Highly recommend the staff to meet all your hair needs.
