I was at a crossroads with my hair, I was not sure which way to go. Such a confusing situation, add to that some life challenges and what a mess. I needed a change, a breath of fresh air and release. GOD sent me to Britt and WOW! Her conversation was professional, spiritually uplifting and definitely angelic. She saw what I needed and went to best route to get it done. I recommend her to anyone seeking a soul revival.

Amaka's is awesome. Every time I leave that salon I feel good. The service is really professional and they are always helpful with hair tips. My hair is always on point once I walk out the salon. From natural hair care to sew-ins my hair is always styled great. Not only that Brittany H. does excellent lashes. This shop has it all; hair, nails, massages. Just an overall great experience. I'd recommend this salon.

When I moved to Chapel Hill, I thought that I would not be able to find a stylist like the one I had in Los Angeles, until I met Dedra at Amaka's International Hair. I have been a customer for 6 months, and my hair has never looked better! The service is great - I get in and out quickly and my hair always looks good. I have been visiting the shop every two weeks, but my hair still looks fresh at the time of my next appointment. I would recommend this shop to anyone; I know that expectations vary, but for me the service and quality is excellent and I would not consider going anywhere else and I have been to many salons!
