Carlsbad Salon & Spa

Waited patiently for my first appointment and someone else came in without an appointment minutes before mine. The lady said"I'll take him first" so, she already made up her mind even though i had my appointment. If appointment wasn't necessity then why schedule? It's the same as how they claim late fees and reschedule before a time frame. And she did not follow either. I wasn't going to wait another 30 minutes for her to finish because my time is limited as well. I was the next city over and just called someone else to take me in and left. Wasted an hour of my time waiting for her specially when she said she will be a little late and still waited for her.

Loved going here for the conversations with Kim who speaks perfect English. She's so friendly and makes my eyelashes beautiful. I've had my nails and toes done here pretty well. When I go back to California, I will spoil myself here again.

My toes were awesome. She took her time and really cleaned up my cuticles. Buy when it came to my nails she kept missing the fact that I wanted a pink French manicure. She expressed frustration when I didn't want what she was trying to give me and told me that her other client was waiting. She also cut my squared off nails to make it easier to shape into almond but cut them too much and made a "shelf" in my nail (picture attached) The tools were not as clean as I'd hope and the place was rather small. I ended up with a mediocre manicure and they charge $1.50 for using a credit card. If you'd like a modern manicure, I'm sorry but this isn't your spot

I had a french manicure at Carlsbad Salon & Spa yesterday. Nancy did an amazing job. She was friendly and competent. It is probably the best manicure I have ever had. Highly recommend Nancy.

My first eyelash extensions ever and Kim did an amazing job! I trust her so much and have already referred several people to her. She is amazing, fast, and top quality.

I don't know how this place has such good reviews. I had a horrible manicure where she pulled my dip nails off without any soaking. I kept saying it hurt and she continued. The redo was decent but not great.
