I am soooooo crazy late on my review and I'm literally sitting in the salon RIGHT NOW waiting for Princess to finish my mom's hair so l'll make the best of this time! I can't say enough wonderful things about RAE Beauty Company. From the very first consultation I had with Rae back in the summer, I felt like I'd found a true gem. Rae (the owner) is both personable and professional. She truly knows her craft. When I first walked in, I was feeling down about my hair changes due to my health, and Rae didn't just give me a hair consultation, she gave me a safe space to vent and feel heard. It was like talking to a sister who just happened to be a hair expert. Rae was so thoughtful, giving me great advice on what would and wouldn't work for my hair in my situation, and suggesting alternatives that made me feel confident again. It was a blend of a consultation and a much needed mini-therapy session. You just don't get that kind of warmth and genuine care everywhere. On top of that, my stylist Princess was equally amazing. She's professional, skilled, and just so easy to talk to. I LOVE her personality! She explained every step, listened to my preferences, and made me feel like I'd known her forever. The whole salon atmosphere is welcoming, calm, and so comfortable. It's a beautiful well lit salon with a zen like atmosphere. Even the hair washing bowls and chairs are designed in a way that put my mom at ease, which is a HUGE DEAL for us. At 84, she's particular about comfort now that's she's dealing with a spinal issue. The day that I had my hair done, Princess brought her to the sinks so she could test out whether or not she would be able to withstand the hair washing/ rinsing process. She left that day feeling hopeful. She had her hair relaxed today and she left feeling absolutely pleased and pain-free. In short, if you're looking for a place that treats you like family, knows their stuff, and leaves you feeling beautiful inside and out, RAE Beauty Company is it. I highly recommend them! I wish I had more photos of my hair, Princess gave me faux boho locs which I loved and my mom had a relaxer today and a MUCH needed trim.

I’ve visited Rae Beauty Co several times and have seen both Rae and Princess for different services, including haircuts, treatments, wash and style, and a sew-in installation. Every experience has been excellent, both in the quality of the work and the warm, professional service. The salon itself is beautiful: bright, airy, and welcoming. I also love that they offer coffee and water, which is such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Rae Beauty Co for anyone looking for a consistently great salon experience.

Sima had her first Silk Press from natural 4C hair she was growing since birth. It was thoroughly detangled by mom before her appt. Rae (owner) took the care to make her feel safe and comfortable through the two hour process of wash, blow out, trim and style! It was a very gentle process on her skin even while high heat was used to silk press the hair. Sima loved taking pictures w shop dog Juice and want to return…🫶🏽 She loved having straight hair for a day but wants to go back to her Afro hair very soon. For mom, it was fun to see the process and the hair got a good trim to keep it healthy. Rae gave good advice on keeping it healthy going forward.

Yesterday I had an appointment at Rae Salon and let me first say that the atmosphere at the salon is very Zen and everyone is very professional and welcoming. This was my first time getting a combination of K tips and I tips and I was a bit nervous. Rae was incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. She took the time to understand my hair concerns and was able to make me very comfortable. The installment was a long process but Rae was on point each step of the way and even finished a little before the that was allotted. Rae’s passion for hair care is incredible which shows through her work. The next day she even follows up with A text to see how you’re doing and she also sends an email on how to take care of your hair. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I do look forward to my next appointment.

Rae Beauty Co. was great. I was serviced by Princess. She was there to get me when I arrived. She was lovely and did a great job with my hair. She was attentive and checked in regularly to ensure that my scalp was feeling comfortable. Two weeks later and we're still looking good. Thanks to Princess and Rae Beauty!

My experience at Rae Beauty Co. was incredible! Initially, I was so nervous about getting my first sew in. But Rae put my mind at ease. She is such a talented stylist, a great communicator, and overall has a calm aura. She talked me through the process and really educated me on my hair. Overall, I was so impressed by her professionalism, punctuality, the environment (GREAT MUSIC) and my hair came out AMAZING. Very satisfied.
