I cannot say enough amazing things about Tina at Prospect Hair. I’ve been going to her for over 10 years and she has never disappointed. From cuts to color, she is truly a master at what she does. She has done every shade of blonde imaginable on me over the years. highlights, balayage, bright blonde, icy blonde, warm blonde,and every single time it comes out flawless. She really listens to what you want, gives honest professional advice, and somehow always makes it look even better than I imagined. My hair is always healthy, blended beautifully, and perfectly toned when I leave her chair. On top of being insanely talented, she’s also hilarious and so fun to be around. I genuinely look forward to my appointments because she makes the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your hair long-term, Tina is it. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Highly, highly recommend!

I’ve been meaning to write this review since the holidays but because of time it’s been hard. I still had to come on here and thank Jenny. I came one day to get my haircut. I made it very clear I needed someone who can cut curly hair. When i got it done by someone, i left and was very upset with how it looked after i washed it. I paid 70$ not including tip and it looked worse then i came in and barely looked like anything happened. I wont say more details about that first cut but was very disappointing. I decided to just call and see if i can come in and someone can fix it because I had somewhere to be for the holidays and spent a lot of money, I talked to Jenny on the phone and she was the one who fixed my hair too. She not only stayed until I came after work but took her time (which to me is a good sign) talked to me about what i wanted and was super kind to me. She made my hair look a lot better despite the complications before. I’m very thankful for her. She really made it better so i can look good for the holidays and I really appreciate her effort to help me not only fix my haircut but was very kind and turns out I liked it. Thank you Jenny! Went from 1 star to 4 because of you!

I booked a gloss and a blowout here on a whim! I had never been to prospect hair before, but after reading the reviews, I made my appointment. The team was extremely efficient but also took their time to understand what I was wanting! Tina is a hair wizard, I was running short on time towards the end of the appointment and she had my blowout looking fantastic in 15 minutes. Will absolutely be coming back!

I was here visiting a friend and walked in no appointment wondering if they could do anything to fix the brassiness from a few days earlier at my home hair salon that I was so unhappy with. Tina and Jonny worked together to slightly lift and tone my hair to get me back to the blonde I wanted SO quickly and they eliminated so much of what I thought would be the most stubborn "orange" tone! I went from being unsure if anything could be done to save my hair to LOVING it in under two hours - I’m so happy I stopped in at the right time! Also, those two are both fun and funny and I had a great time. 5 stars, 10/10, all the good things 🙂

Wonderful! Recently moved to Brooklyn, wanted to get a quick blowout and Aziz gave me best voluminous curls! He is a professional hair expert and is careful not to heat the hair much! Very glad to have met him! Yaay my hair is hairing today😍

Tina did a fantastic job on my long shag. She asked me detailed questions about what i was looking for exactly. My hair feels incredibly soft and is very voluminous from how it was previously. Go to Tina and Prospect Hair!

Lovely salon, I was really scared at the beginning since it was my first time cutting my hair in nyc but everything was great, Jeny was my stylist she helped me a lot picking a option based on how I had my hair. She was the best, very kind and patient with me. I will come back and I 100% recommend them. They washed and brushed my hair. The results were 👌 I would recommend you do and appointment in advance
