Jk Beauty Salon

I arrived at a decent time around 5pm - asking if they’re accepting walk-ins . First thing that came out the beauticians mouth was "do you speak Spanish" . However I understand it extremely well but I don’t speak it . I felt like I had to be initiated before being serviced .. waited 10 minutes to wash my hair - which was great : shampoo was watered down in the bottle already . I waited another 10 minutes while another woman received a sew in . I sat in the chair and began to take the blower and go around my head to dry it without the brush . It was super loud inside the salon - a what I believe to be 9 year old child kept yelling mathematical equations to his mother while she was doing my hair . Beautician was extremely distracted with all her attention on everyone else but the task which was a simple blow out . She stopped my service to take content for a client . Beautician began to blow dry my hair which at one point she burned my hair & i had to pull away . My hair came out beautiful nothing more simple than a wash and blow - I have manageable hair that isn’t hard to deal with . Coming home and now two days later - my hair is severely burned & now next salon visit which will not be here will require me to apply a treatment to repair my hair . Will I return - no Price $35+5 for full blow . I’ve paid more and received better service . I paid less and basically got what I paid for . It’s sad - because I pay & tip well .. all my salon needs are super basic but when you enter a salon and these course of events happen you’d rather leave without return . Was I the greatest client ? First time client at that ? I patiently waited , i was on my personal phone and i answered a call after I read the room . I wouldn’t dare to but at this point we both had a job to do . I hope this is a warning to new comers who happen to stumble upon a salon like this off the whim hoping to receive a service and go .

I love this salon been coming for years they are so nice and always cater to my needs! 100% would recommend going.

Highly disappointed. Today May/4/2021 I went in for my hair dyed black and a wash&set and was told my one box of hair dye wasn't enough for my short hair. My hair was washed two times, poorly. Conditioned barely then no heat protection on my naturally curly hair. Within an hour the back of my hair and the ends already got frizzy. 40 dollars even though I brought my own box of dye.

The salon is under new management now which is unfortunate because the old owner and workers were so nice and fast .. lady washing hair dried my hair with a dirty towel out the hamper which is crazy.. won’t be returning

She is very polite and try to understand wat you want for ur hair and also give you ideas

Anabel is the best doing hair I loved the experience this will be my new spot to go to loved it !! 😊
