This was a great experience. I felt relax the whole time, and was attentent to in a timely matter. Overall, a very professional experience, and local in the Bronx. Thank you to Consuelo who made my experience and my hair beautiful!

Horrible experience. The lady was so ruff with my hair and kept burning my scalp with the blow dryer. I feel like she was not knowledgeable about hair and she is an older lady. She took way too long to do my hair. I will not be going back.

Best hair stylist in the Bronx area. Excellent service! Extensions, wash and set, color, nails. Ive been doing my hair with Consuelo the owner for more than 3 years..she is the Best!! But the rest of the girls do awsome work too!!

I love this place😍😍. The staff is great, they are very nice and attentive. I came here and they took care of me right away. I recommend this place 100%. I had a hair cut and she cut what I told her to cut not like other places I've been in the past that cut all my hair. My hair looks very shine and healthy. I definitely will come back. This is my new favorite place.🤗🤗

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I went to get a trim and long layers since my hair was very long (approx 26/28 inches) and the hairstylist Consuelo cut more than half off after I fully explained in detail the amount that I wanted off. My hair is currently up to my chest (aprrox 16/18 inches) after it was initially all the way down to my hips. After the first cut she kept cutting more and more of my hair and gave me choppy layers and the worst "curtain bangs". When I told her that I didn't ask for my hair to be this short and with choppy layers she blamed it on the hair color and the process that I already had - a balayage. The color of my hair has nothing to do with how badly she cut my so called "layers". After going to a different hair salon to get my hair fixed, they agreed that the color has nothing to do with a cut. She calls herself a "professional" mentioning her licenses and everything but does not know how to cut normal long layers. She also proceeded to blame the "thickness" of my hair and said that I have to just style it to make it look nice. I have naturally straight hair so I have no reason to style it and get blowouts every week. If you have naturally long straight hair, please do not go here unless you want half of your hair gone!!!!

I’ve been going to Consuelo (the owner) to do my hair for more than 10 years. I have super curly hair and she always does my blowout amazingly!!! Everyone who comes here comes out with their hair looking beautiful

This place is a God send, been visiting VIP Stylist for a bit over a year. I can truly say this is home. From Miriam that washes your hair with love from the stylists Consuelo, Rosmery, and Kary takes care of your hair like if is theirs. I came to this VIP Stylist with dull, brittle, broken hair, my hair now is healthy, shinny, long, abundant. I recommend this place 200%. Many Blessings to them.
