Marie is very nice, she does my hair every year for vacation, I always get lots of compliments every time, and her braids always last, thank you Marie and thank you to the owner for taking my appointment last minute. God bless you all

My last experience with Butu was not great. Jj did my hair which she had done it before and I loved it but this time I’m not too pleased. With it. Despite me showing her exactly what I wanted she made my parts very big and I feel like I have 20 braids in my head. I felt like she makes up the prices as she goes. I don’t mind paying to get my hair done but when I’m paying over $200 and my braids are falling out 2 weeks later is concerning. It’s a shame because I returned to Butu because of the cleanliness of the salon. I felt like she was in a hurry because she said I was done and put no moose in my hair. I asked her if she can add moose and she put a ton in my hair. She did not do the hot towel and left the braids very stiff. Overall I’m just really disappointed with my last experience.

Unprofessional experience I called the store to make an appointment, and over the phone there was shouting, yelling and I got hung up on twice. Once I got the owner on the phone a third time, she told me to show up at 2pm. I pulled up to the shop at 1:45pm alongside another young lady who I assume also had a 2pm appointment time. I was not seating until 4pm!!! I was made to wait TWO HOURS for my appointment. Two other customers came in that two hour timeframe and also had to wait. There was no kind of restitution for the wait time whatsoever. The experience was completely unprofessional & if I hadn’t needed my hair done for school, I would’ve left and found someone else but unfortunately I was on a time crunch. If go here, just prepare to know what ur in for

Went there for the first Tim least week. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Clothes fit well and were well made. Everyone raved about my outfit for my son’s graduation! Will be going again. Love it!! Sandra (Haïti Poppet)

I called and made an appointment for my son to get his hair braided.upon arrival the shop was packed. Then I was told my son's hair was to short to be braided. I took him somewhere else and they were able to braid his hair just fine. Seemed they just over booked and was not willing to even try to braid his hair. Very disappointing
