This was one of the most worst experiences I’ve had with a braiding shop. I called same day for my son to get his natural hair done in two strand twists and a line up as he had a concert for school the next day. Mind you his hair is thin and barely touches the bottom of neck. I was told to come at 4:00pm so I had him arrive at that time. There want clear instructions on how to get inside but no biggie. I finally arrive thinking he would either be done or pretty much wrapping up at 5:00pm and they hadn’t even started. I have two young children as well I care for so being in multiple places is my life at the moment. Imagine my surprise he is not even started. I sit and wait for the stylist to not be done until 8:00pm. The worst part is I was charged $140 for two strand twists that were not the same size due to the stylist not realizing his hair texture does not hold small two strand twists and have now sat for over three hours for a style that should take an hour and half max. This price did not include the line up which was another $25. The prices are absolutely ridiculous for what he got and the amount of time it took.i opted for this location for convenience of having him styled and cut but I wouldnt go back here for services at all.
Very unprofessional. I showed up on time to an empty & dirty salon. When I called the number provided and she said the first appointment was running late and they could take me after, and that she forgot to call. The first appointment was for 12…ma’am, it’s after 1 pm. That appointment hadn’t even started, so there’s no proposed start time?! I’m just standing in an empty shop, I waited around for 30 mins then left. When it comes to cleanliness, the first appointment was a no-show. When I arrived, there were hair and trash piles in several corners, the hair booths weren't picked up, appliances were just out everywhere, and I had to dust off the chair before I sat down.
This company has been deleting my review because it’s honest and accurate. The pictures of my hair speak for itself honestly. Appointment was at 4:30pm and I didn’t leave until 1:30am. For $190 this is mess that didn’t last month. The owner started my hair then left some other lady to do my hair who didn’t even know how to twist. Her girl took the hair that I paid for with my money and was dragging around on the floor, stepping on it, and holding it up to other peoples head. The conversation in the shop were deplorable absolutely disgusting how they sit around talking about skin color.
I came 2 weeks ago. called last minute and said I was getting medium bra length knotless braids, the lady/owner whoever answered the phone said as long as I’m there before 630pm they can take me. Got there at 6:20pm, they all looked confused, nd then quickly realized I was the person who had just called. Someone got me to a seat, and started on my hair, I showed the pack of hair and she was like that’s too long( even tho it said finished length is 26"), we’ll have to burn the ends or make them curly cause we won’t have enough time. Boom, so I said whatever, let’s just use yall hair instead cause I’m don’t want either style. One girl was parting my hair and she did a great job on the parting I will say, but the braids were coming out different sizes, so it was taking longer than usual. She had to get ready to leave and some other girl came over and her parting was just not it, and I asked for the other girl to come back! It was just a whole mess, I guess a bunch of them had an event the next day and so they had to leave so one older lady was like " why are u still braiding? We have to go" and the girls like "she asked to part her hair cause she likes the way I do it"! And then she goes " the other girl can braid and part, if you don’t like it just tell her, and she’ll fix it" at this point it’s like 8pm and not even the front part of my hair is done. THESE WERE CHILDREN, high schoolers, teenagers. I was over the situation at this point. They were rushing to get me out the chair and had to lock up shop at 9pm- didn’t finish until about 920pm.3 girls were there, but one of them was to lazy to even help speed up the process. But if that’s the case why even bother to take me in the first place? Lack of time management and just overall professionalism, they did give me a discount for 140$ instead of 200$. And honestly the work was worth $100 at best, I left with all different sizes of braids and different lengths, some of them weren’t even braided all the way down, my natural hair was coming out, so I had to redo the ends and hot water them when I got home. My cousin goes there often and speaks good things, but only goes to 1 or 2 people so I’m surprised I had a terrible first impression. Won't be back, I’ll stick to my original braiders in Boston. They would have NEVER let me me leave the shop with my hair looking like that! Hopefully their professionalism and time management improves in the future ! Very good parting by the tall skinny girl with the red braids !!
Me and my husband went last minute here because the last braider before coming there gave terrible service. Thankfully they let us come in and they did a very good job with his hair. He got braids and a lineup and both came out 10/10!! They even played some baby shows for my little girl. Very nice and amazing people come and get your hair done here. Very much recommend very happy with the service.

They take their time to make sure everything is perfect, and the results always speak for themselves. You can tell they care about their work and their clients. I really appreciate the teamwork and positive energy they bring — it makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality and care!
First of all made an appt only to get there no one is there and when I was almost 7mins away from home turn around because I needed the hair down. Second of all the appt I made was for cornrow to wear wig on it for my mom &sister and was charge $60 for each person. This pic is what the braided did and its not worth the price I was charge for. I'm officially not going back.
