Excellent staff. I was asked if there is a particular area I wanted a the masseuse to focus on by the masseuse and I said to her yes, lower back, please however she focus on the upper back. So this was not miscommunication between or because of a middle person as she asked me directly, and I responded to her directly. Overall the deep tissue massage was great but in order for me to give five stars, I think if I am ask which target area I would like to be focused on and then another area is focused to me that type of attention to detail can make the difference between four stars and five stars however I still left $100 tip because I understand and I acknowledge that doing deep tissue massage for 90 minutes is a lot of work.

I had a great experience with Kate at Viva Day Spa! She was so kind, accommodating, and made me feel very comfortable. I had never had lip filler, and she really prioritized what would fit with my natural features. She took the time took explain the process and answer all my questions. Kate was very thorough in explaining care and everything I need to do after our appointment. I really love the results. I would highly recommend!

I purchased a spa package gift certificate from Viva Day Spa in October 2025 as an anniversary gift for my spouse. When my spouse attempted to redeem it in February 2026, we were told the package had "changed" and now includes fewer services than what I originally paid for. When I spoke with them, they flatly refused to honor the services that were explicitly included in the package I purchased. Their position is essentially: "We changed our packages, so you get less than what you paid for." This is unacceptable. When you purchase a gift certificate, you’re entering into an agreement for specific services at a specific value. A business cannot unilaterally reduce what they owe you. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was meant to be a special anniversary gift. Instead of a relaxing spa day, we’ve dealt with frustration and the realization that this business doesn’t stand behind what they sell. If you’re considering purchasing a package or gift certificate from Viva Day Spa, be warned: there’s no guarantee they’ll honor what you actually pay for. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere to a spa that respects its commitments to customers.

Upon entering the Viva/35th, I was immediately more mellow. Staff were friendly and efficient and ambience was calming. Facial with Jill was relaxing and allowed me to escape the world’s stressors for an hour and take care of my skin—won-win!

Massages are ok, but waxing and facials have not been. Too expensive for the subpar service. For waxing, my apt was 10 minutes behind. While my specialist tried to be friendly with small talk, it was at the cost of missing or overdoing areas she was responsible for. I wasn’t asked what I wanted, and when I brought it up, she cut me off to say "we’ll keep the shape" (I happened to want that, but what if I hadn’t?). She did what I asked while saying she hated doing it bc that’s not what she thought would look good for me. No general understanding of how to offset pain by keeping skin tight, making it more painful than needed. The manager attempted to resolve my experience with a touch up session, but I experienced the same training related issues-- an aloof specialist who didn’t ask what I wanted, overdid areas, lacked context for my return, and appeared inconvenienced after discovering I was there for a touch up, not full service. Will not be coming back.

I had a wonderful experience. I’m a mom and I recently suffered a late term stillbirth. I have been having a rough go at it, needless to say, with trauma built up in my body. I decided to get out of my cave of sadness and treat myself to the vital facial & massage package. It was far above my expectations- and I’d heard great things about Viva Day Spa already. As someone who does not pamper herself often, it was worth every penny. Everyone was so kind, the ambiance warm and inviting. My skin is now amazing, it de-stressed me so much, she educated me on best skincare practices, AND the massage I received was abundantly meditative and healing for me. It was the first time I’d felt peace since I was happily pregnant and waddling everywhere just 7 short (yet long) weeks ago.. life is crazy hard and lovely and beautiful and you never know who will fill your cup. I’m thankful and grateful to have come here and will recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Christina at check-in was welcoming. My massage from Robin was one of the best deep tissue massages I’ve had. She was attentive to what I expressed my issues were and most importantly in tuned with what my body needed. Overall pleasant experience, I would highly recommend.
