I am a regular at iClips. I used to go there many times to get my bang trimmed, and I always loved it. I had to make an appointment last week, and due to some circumstances I had to cancel my appointment. I called there to cancel my appointment but they didn't pick up. I don't know her name, she is a new young girl with tattoos. Anyways, then I made another appointment online, showed up the next day and she said she can't help me because I didn't show up to my appointment last time????? Dude, I called you. And then she says "We are having phone issues". Never again. Go to Cut Hut, they are way cheaper.
Amazing haircut for an amazing price, I will definitely come back here when I want to do something with my hair again! I had Ms. May and she is incredibly talented and sweet. Would recommend this place if you're looking for affordable but high-quality haircuts!
I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. From the moment I got there, she was irritated and impatient. She repeatedly over and over again asked about length cut off, and although I tried to explain I was a little confused about the terminology between length cutting and layer cutting. I showed a couple of inspiration photos, and she heavily scolded me because the photos weren’t identical to my hair length and to each other. Eventually as she got more impatient with me, repeating that my explanation didn’t make sense, she accused me of micromanaging her, ripped off my cloak, and kicked me out saying "i can tell you’re the kind of person who is never satisfied and when you have your hair license you can make decisions". I only had a couple inspiration photos and I was hoping she could advise me on some ideas (I was totally hoping for her feedback and would have taken any suggestions) but I’m literally left in shock and tears and so confused. I never once raised my voice, ordered or demanded her to do anything. I just sat there meekly and stuttering with anxiety as she railed aggressively at me for being indecisive and not understanding her question. I really wasn’t picky and would have accepted pretty much anything that looked okay. My answer was just "about an inch of length at the bottom and some shaggy layers" and "I’m so sorry, I don’t understand" when she grilled me aggressively. I really endeavor leave bad reviews because I have the deepest empathy for people in customer service positions but this was beyond shocking and genuinely shook me up for the whole day.
I went to get BLONDE CHUNKY HIGHLIGHTS. This was the first time I ever dyed my hair so I called ahead of time to ask if they could do this style for me and the woman who answered said yes. When she started putting on the bleach, she realized that it was expired AN HOUR after I came in and sat down. She put more bleach on top of the expired bleach. When she was finished, the color was closer to orange/bronze. Not to mention, my hair was not even in highlights. The top half of my layers are "blonde" and the bottom half of my hair is brown. Cherry on top was her charging me full price after saying she would give me a discount from how unsatisfied I was. Will never come here again ❤️
I’m not one to post reviews normally but I need to warn y’all. I have had good experiences here in the past but I will never go back. New person cut my hair, Amanda. She was terrible. My hair is so messed up that I am going to have to go to another place tomorrow to fix it up. She doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing at all, there are patches in my hair, it’s different lengths at different places. I have never had a cut this bad in my life, it’s actually depressing me. I am also a man and my hair isn’t that hard to cut. She spent less than ten minutes.
I’ve come to iclips multiple times to get my haircuts, and I’ve usually enjoyed my experience. I think they recently changed their bookings process from square to vagaro, and I ended up not booking with Ms. May as I usually do because of that. As such, I was confused when I arrived, and when I tried to talk to the lady at the front whose name is Amanda, she seemed extremely annoyed by my presence. I had just come from an exam, so my mind wasn’t grasping everything that she was saying off the bat. She was really rude to the point that I felt really uneasy and uncomfortable in the salon. I really enjoyed interacting with Ms. May, so I’ll give 1 star, but that experience made me extremely uncomfortable. They also raised their prices 🙁
Ms. May did me justice! I just asked for curtain bangs and lots of layers and she somehow pulled exactly what I wanted out of my brain. After playing it with for a while the bangs are really versatile and easily the best cut I’ve ever had in my life and she did it in no joke- 25 seconds. This woman has some serious talent, and I will definitely be seeing her in the future. Highly recommend giving her a visit!
