I was referred to Kenny and used him once before for a short cut style I had. Kenny excelled at this style. I booked his services again in great need to prepare for a busy week of appearances. I purchased hair from a beauty supply store and brought it in for a sew in with a middle part. I was quoted $280 for the sew and separate fees for shampoo, take down services, a rinse, and for having more than two bundles bringing my total to $440. The price is not the issue. The quality of the sewin and the braiding foundation is. All of the tracks on the top of my head were exposed and couldn’t be covered. I had a hump on the top of my head due to a braid that Kenny added. The foundation of the sew in was very lumpy and some areas were pulled extremely tight. Kenny waited until all the hair was installed to state the hair was thin instead of inspecting the hair prior to use. He rinsed my hair a completely different color than the hair itself because he didn’t check the hair. Due to him accepting my appointment, although I was running late, I didn’t leave the salon until nearly 10pm. I didn’t have the opportunity to look deeply at my hair but once I got home I was so disappointed after deeper inspection. I immediately contacted Kenny asking for a take down and consideration of a partial refund. Instead of taking handling the issue , he decided to blame the density of my hair stating my hair and edges were thin. He told me I liked my hair and refused my refund. I told him I didn’t like my hair and showed him these pictures once two other stylists had to help me take it out. They were both saddened by the install and very disappointed in my experience. I attempted to ask for $270 and Kenny declined such. This was the base price of the install. He did not counter offer. Being that I work a demanding schedule and have to identify another option quickly before my next appearance, I was unable to come in for a take down. He recommend I cut it into a bob instead of acknowledging the poor install and tracks that cannot be covered on the top due to the way he installed the hair. This stylist only takes payments by zelle which cannot be disputed so now I’ll have to file a small claims and report this work. I personally did everything I could to communicate my concerns and to handle the manner professionally and he refused. I would not recommend his services on the basis of having poor conflict resolution and not having an amicable policy in place when a customer is not pleased. Telling me I am pleased when I paid $440 all to have to remove the hair within 24 due to a poor install is a terrible way to treat a customer.

Great service. Kenny gave me a haircut, touch up, shampoo, conditioning and color and I love it. I’ve had so many compliments about my hair and I love my new look. Kenny is attention to detail and great at his craft. Every one in the salon is nice and friendly. Will also cuts my son’s hair and he’s great. Overall I’ve had a great experience at this Salon and I will definitely recommend them.

LOOOOVVVVVEEEE Kenny! Been going to him for a couple years now. I’m platinum blonde and Kenny gets my color right the first time, every time! I’ve been to other stylist who can never really get my color right. Platinum is tricky and tough to achieve, but Kenny does it every session.

I've been going to Kenny for years, with excellent service. I've had many styles, short and long, and he's always ready to embrace my new ideas and creations. Highly recommend!

This past Saturday was my first experience with this salon, and I was FLOORED. It brought back the luxury experience of getting your hair done. The shop has a vibe, and Kenny and Will are professional, and definitely masters of their craft. I got the California Silk Press, and a cut. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The products used in my hair, the attention to detail, even how other clients were treated. I honestly cannot wait for my next appointment. I am thankful that I was referred to Kenny by one of his clients. I have been struggling for years trying to find a stylist that provided services for hair health and can make me feel beautiful at the same. My advice is to just book the appointment! He is amazing as is his assistant Will. They provide an incredible atmosphere. The shop is extremely clean. Just an overall professional and inviting environment.

Amazing salon experience and I plan to be a repeat client. Looked up the salon after being in the area and took a chance which paid off! The salon is nicely decorated and the vibe is very professional. I was serviced by Kenny, who listens thoroughly to your requests and also explains thoroughly what he is doing to your hair throughout the process. My texturizer came out better than I ever imagined. It’s very refreshing after a few lackluster experiences with other ATL salons to have quality service!
