I am writing this with disappointment, not anger. This was not a single mistake—it was a pattern I tolerated until it became impossible to ignore. We discussed the style in advance, and the stylist confidently assured me she could do it. I relied on that assurance. The service ultimately provided did not reflect what was promised. The style was uneven, incorrect in size and length, and completed without meaningful check-ins. After nearly 12 hours in the chair, the result did not justify the time, cost, or trust invested. Communication leading up to the appointment was inconsistent, with key details left unresolved until the day of service. Pricing shifted during the process, adding to the sense that my time and preparation were not respected. Rather than accountability, I was offered a discount and told it would be "made up next time." That response confirmed what this experience made clear: my concerns were not taken seriously. The style was so tight that I had to take it out because my scalp was tight and very uncomfortable. I am not seeking a response. This review is for accountability so future clients can make informed decisions. I do not recommend this service.This review reflects my experience with stylist S.A.

Keri is my hair dresser and she is just the best! She colors my hair and offers great advice on how to maintain it. She also cuts my 18 yr old grandsons hair. He has wavy hair with a classic 1970’s look.Wavy curly hair is hard to cut- and hard to find someone who can do it right. LOVE IT and LOVE her!!

Ridiculously amazing! Ive literally never been happier with my color. I am so picky, but she knew exactly what i wanted. She is patient and kind and really takes the time to try to figure out what it is you are wanting. She is extremely talented and a genuinely pleasant person to be around. Definitely recommend.

Got my eyebrows done at Opulent Beauty by Susana Duarte and she is THE BEST!! She is a pleasure to talk to, is super aware to make it as painless as possible, and does AMAZING brows. I keep getting complimented on them!! I have zero makeup on in the photo.

I work nearby this salon and encountered a disgruntled stylist. I don't know her name but I'm sure she'll answer to Karen. I can't tell you if the business itself is good or not because I've never been a customer. Due to Karen's condescending demeanor and childish behavior towards me regarding a parking spot, I will never be a customer there. Which is sad because when I find a stylist I like, I'm very loyal to them. I resolved the issue regarding the parking spot with the customer, but Karen felt it was necessary to continue to harass me. Karen went out of her way in an attempt to get me in trouble with my employer. That old saying comes to mind "misery loves company". Its too bad that she dosen't choose to "catch more bees with honey". Had Karen handled this situation differently, I wouldn't be writing a review advising people not to go here. I hope she isn't the person in charge (at Salon 18 Suites in Apple Valley suite 201) because if that's how she runs an establishment, I'm surprised that business survived COVID. If you happen to be reading this Karen, just know that I'll be praying for you. God dosen't like ugly.
