Barnes & Noble

I love the new Barnes & Noble, although I suppose it's not too new anymore. I love how they've refocused on books rather than toys and music. Also the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish that there were more places to sit and peruse but that's a small thing.

Love giving signed books as Christmas gifts to friends and family. Barnes & Noble offers, in regard to Black Friday promotions, a chance to purchase a variety of signed editions. Sounds good unless you choose to do your signed book shopping in Westport. Not sure why the staff do not like shoppers buying their signed editions but they are ALWAYS rude and not accommodating. This year was the worst. The signed editions were mixed in with all the others so it was very frustrating and staff seemed very put off to assist in any way. No smiles, no eye contact, no offer of assistance - just sighs, and rolled eyes. What gives?? Going forward will avoid Westport Barnes & Noble for all book purchases.

Great bookstore. Need to go more often. So many interesting books. They have something for all ages.

This store is very cozy, probably one of my favorite B&N stores (even though it’s not huge). Great to concentrate on what you are looking for😊 The staff is very friendly and helpful in case you can’t find what you need.

Warmly greeted as I walked in by two booksellers 🙂 I wasn’t sure if the book I’d ordered online was ready — it was! Great experience!

Definitely a small scale store but nonetheless it’s very spacious inside the store with plenty of genres/categories to choose from. It sort of looks small from the outside till you go inside the store. Bookstores are a dying market but it’s great to know there are still some around Fairfield county. It’s along a main road so parking is limited depending on what time you go. It’s definitely a nice spot to grab a new book for your home library or even in general. I will definitely be making another trip there in the future if I’m ever in the area or even need a new book to read.

I traveled to this location for a book that I saw online that they had in stock at this store. For some reason the book could not be location. I ended up purchasing something different that was was actually better. The associates were very nice and helpful and I appreciate them for that.
