Customer Reviews
Walmart Supercenter has a rating of 4 out of 5 based on over 4333 reviews on Google
The workers were courteous and helpful when I had questions. The store was neat and clean. I especially liked some of the sake items. I do not enjoy checking out by myself. That's why I did not rate 5 stars!
TLDR: Walmart has trifling return policies! My complaint is NOT towards the worker, manager, nor team coach. They are only doing their job (as far as I understand)! My frustration is with the higher ups that implement bad policies! I had a bad experience with this walmart recently when buying the PS5 Victrix PRO BFG controller. I bought the controller, and tested it out as soon as I got home. I noticed the right joystick was drifting and was unplayable. I took it back the next day (keep this in mind). When I went to customer service, I told them I lost the receipt. They told me that if I didn't have a receipt, they could not refund anything above $50 (the controller is $200). The return policy behind them specifically states that I could return an item within 90 days without a receipt; there is nothing stating this $50 limit. She sent me to the customer service manager, and I discussed it with her. She said the same thing and told me they have a more specific return policy on their desk for me to look at. I read the policy, and not only does it not specify the $50 limit, it also reinforces the fact that I DO NOT NEED A RECEIPT to make a return. If I don't have a receipt, I just need a valid ID. I brought this up to the manager and she brought over the team coach. He was saying that since I bought the controller with cash and not debit card, they could not verify that I actually made the purchase. At this point, I decide to go to corporate to talk to them about this. When I get someone on the phone, she's telling me there's nothing they can do and they can only handle online returns. I asked if there was a supervisor position I can be transferred to, she said no. No organization, whether it's corporate, or even military, have I seen where I run an issue up the chain of command and someone higher up is powerless to resolve it. While I'm on the phone with corporate, I end up finding the receipt in the car so I go back in the store to return the controller. They do the refund, and the first lady I talk to let me know, they have to do this because they deal with shady people that like to make fake returns to get money out of the store. I am understanding of what she's saying and it makes sense. And the icing on the cake: THE EXACT SAME DEFECTED CONTROLLER is right back on the shelf for the next person to buy, at a discount. Let me reiterate the TLDR and make it clear... my frustration is NOT with the customer service desk nor their team coach. They are doing their job and just trying to make a living. My frustration is with whoever has them reinforcing this policy because it is clear to me that they are following a script brought down by higher rank. I think we all need to try to avoid walmart if we can help it.
10:30 ish, Thursday, December 11, 2025. I was VERY impressed with check out today. There was an older gentleman in front of me who was struggling to pay with his card. The cashier, Monty, came around and helped him. When it was my turn, he greeted me in a very friendly manner and when I was struggling to get everything in my cart, he again came around and helped me. Throughout, he was friendly and cheerful. I’m an old lady and I can’t remember any cashier at Walmart ever providing service at this level of helpfulness and friendliness. This is an excellent man and employee. Thank you Monty! We appreciate you
I moved a few months ago, so I'm still learning the layout of this Walmart. When I need help here, most of the employees actually walk me to the item I want, even when I insist they don't have to stop what they are doing. It's a nice touch. Don't get me wrong, there are a few that actually act like you are bothering them. Tisk, tisk. Little do they know, their attitude is my new challenge. I'm hell bent and determined to get a smile, a chuckle, a twinkle in their eye, or a change in that attitude and tone of voice. Kill em with kindness! If they just can't get off of their own toes, I give them our sweet, only used appropriately in the south, phrase, "bless your heart". If they are from the south, they know I just gave them the "hand gesture". Y'all know the one I'm talking about.😁😇 Anywho, I wanted a particular color paint for my front door. The 1st time I tried to get it, the machine that disperses the color yellow in this formula, was sitting in the warehouse waiting to be installed. So, 2wks later I thought I'd see if I could get the paint. The gentleman working that section said the same as the previous employee, but this gentleman, Rodney, went one step furthern to verify if that color of yellow was used in the formula I needed. Well, bless my pea pickin heart, it WAS NOT! Rodney and I went on a search for the right brand to mix. We found it, he mixed it and off I went. Rodney was very kind and patient and helpful. Thank you, Rodney, for your persistent to help me get what I wanted. Other of your coworkers would have just left me to my own devices and another location. From now on, I'm tracking him down to help me solve whatever is keeping me from finding what I need.
Well stocked and a decent Walmart. There were no cashiers available to check out and self checkout was required unfortunately. I did have something scan twice on me but someone came over to assist quickly.
Every time in the morning, some workers are putting items on the shelves and it's in the shoppers way. Sometimes there are boxes everywhere and in the way. That stuff needs to be done overnight or when the store is closed. And I went to get a money order and there was only one person working at the customer service and the line was long, so I went somewhere else to get a simple money order. It's hard to get a money order at this Walmart.
We made a order for pickup and went to go get it parked in a parking spot. They said it was going to take 2 hours to get us our order. There was another lady sitting beside us. She said that she had been there almost 4 hours waiting on her order. So, I went in, bought the stuff and canceled the order all within an hour.
