Great store for uncommon Gundam or other model kits, as they also sell quality tools like Godhand. Owner puts up their own amazing work, so theres definitely no gap in knowledge when it comes to that! Penelope at this location and Jeremiah at the ToysLogic location were informative and incredibly friendly about answering any of the many questions I had while browsing there, too!

Pretty wide selection of anime figures at reasonable prices. Also pretty much the only place in the east bay with a large selection of gundam models and modeling tools/paints (that arent citadel or armypainter), with even a few Staff is friendly, though i think only the manager is knowledgeable on the paints and tools, so do research on the paint lines or just keep google translate open.

Though I have never been to an Anime Store Near Me in California. During Christmas break of 2021 and last year’s Thanksgiving, I got the chance to explore a limited space, high end inventory, and very much joke about anime and reference them in store for giggles. Of course there are very good amounts of items, good figure kits (build from scratch) and plushie collectibles to display in glory on your shelves. Also to note, for those who have the fate, fortune, luck or skill? Test your own self by buying a ticket to pull from limited event themed items. Supplies limited. Overall, as a person that loves anime and joke about them. I would love to visit this store whenever or however I get the chance. Also still got the Spheal plushie from here, adorable and spherical. I ordered a figure for pickup here by mistake (I live in Columbus, Ohio) & I called in to the store to report the issue. Penelope helped me out with the issue and was very kind and prompt with calling me back. I wish I lived in California so I could give them more of my business. My experience was fantastic.

Staff is super nice and welcoming, store is clean and well organized and really well stocked. Great array of high quality Gundam building supplies as well, with God Hands, Koto, Mr. Hobby, Gunprimer and more. Good selection of HG, RG, and MGs. I'll be stopping in frequently! Yes, some products are cheaper online, but I'd rather pay slightly more to support a local store and be able to actually touch the thing I'm buying. And when you factor in shipping, prices are the same. Would love to see them stock Tamiya products in the future.

I've brought friends here a handful of times now, in spite of it being well out of the way. I expected a great figure selection, but was tickled to see the piles of Gunpla and ample craft supplies right smack in the middle of the shop! The name is both hilarious and legitimately clever.

Staff were very welcoming and nice, even attempted to help me reach the purchase total required for a discount (I was less than a dollar off). Massive selection of models, figures, plushies, and more. Gunpla were about the same price as I was seeing online, but without the extra shipping costs. 11/10, would buy from again
