I was in Visalia looking for a job thru a Temp (Staffing) Agency. Somehow by completely "coincidence" *cough* i end up finding the store. I didn't know there was a Barnes and Noble in Visalia. I was completely shocked 🫨 and surprised..😲 in a good way of course 😁👍 So i had to go inside and take a look ... maybe buy myself a new book 😏 ("it's almost Christmas") i heard this store is smaller than the Fresno branch but somehow i love this interior design much more. I get "open kitchen" vibes from it. Nothing its blocking me from all the goodies (books) you can easily passthru any sections. If you aren't paying attention sure you might feel lost but thats what makes it enjoyable. Its like an endless loop of books . Overall it was a nice trip and a great opportunity to relax. In the end i was only able to take 3 books home, 🥲 so hopefully next time i can sneak another out without my wallet complaining. Lol 😅 Have a wonderful time out there. 😁

My adult daughter wanted to go to Visalia Barnes & Noble. It's been very overcast, so when we got there, the sun was out! We stood there enjoying the Sun. The store small so good, it's been so long since I've been in a bookstore. I did not buy a book but my daughter saw two wonderful puzzles and I bought those. Go get a book people and hopefully some sunshine! 😉

A large and extensive bookstore where you can find books for the little ones in the house, and books for all ages, a wide variety of books for all tastes. There is also an area for small children to have fun putting things together. You can also find educational toys and toys and stuffed animals of children's favorite characters. There are also bags and gift wrap. You can also enjoy your reading and enjoying a Starbucks coffee that is located inside the bookstore. If you are looking for a good book this is the right place for you.

The building is beautiful! I personally love the location I'm so excited to have a bookstore locally again! I think it is a bit smaller than the Fresno or Bakersfield locations but it is chock full of books and media materials! I love and the selection of genres and titles genres and titles!

one star is being generous, had the worst customer service experience last weekend when i went to return calico critters. i guess this store doesn't sell them, so they refused to refund me my money. the manager on duty told me to go to Fresno and return them from the store i bought them from. OK, fast forward 1/2/26 i drive to Fresno and they have ZERO issue with my return, i tell them about my fiasco and they told me that they could have done the return there if they had really wanted too. customer service was horrible. had stood in line for over 30 minutes while they put me aside and helped other customers while they told me they couldn't help me. customer service has been notified. names have been given, you guys SUCK.

A small store but atmosphere is beautiful. Customer service is amazing but not very many items are sold here. Store feels like a maze but not in a bad way. Definitely recommend for quick shopping visits

Love this place! There is something for everyone. I've gone with girlfriends to do some book shopping and a coffee date. I've taken my nieces and nephews so they can do their own exploring. It's always a great time.
