Zia Records (Mill Ave - Tempe)

I went last Saturday... it was awesome even tho I was a little high and did not have that much money this place is AMAZING If you are a fan of ANYTHING EVER, you HAVE to go to this store... they got music and movies and video games and SO MUCH MORE. Also no one rushed me or asked me if I needed any help and I appreciate that a lot I'll definitely go back when I get more money be cause there's a lot of cool stuff in this store 9.5/10 -0.5 point cuz I didn't have enough money to buy everything in the store :')

I went to sell them some cd's a few days ago. Took half, they bought 6 or 7, out of 120, for $8 total or $16 In-store credit. Looking around at what they do sell, new or used, it's a little pricey! You'll find cool, unique, interesting stuff, but geez, spread the love! Without people bringing in stuff, you'd have alot less inventory! There was a huge assortment of a variety of things, besides cds, dvds, movies, clothes, shoes, toys, games,etc!! But, Don't waste your time taking country music in, its on clearance!! Good thing I checked out sold ones, online!! Found quite a few that'll make it worth my posting time, to sell online! Albums for resale, on the wall are $150.00 $ UP!! Ive got 6 crates of albums!! Treasure hunting time!! Zia records is the place to go for buying lost, worn out or duplicate treasures!! One's discarded items can be anyone's newfound treasure!! 📖 🎱♟️🕹🎮🪀🎲🎁 Ya Gotta check them out!!

Great employee. Was there for Mumford and sons signing. Was a great experience

I’ve been a loyal customer for years now for as long back as I can remember but my recent visits haven’t been to great. First off I’m a collector of Blu Rays and DVDs and this location has been selling me discs that no longer play 2nd my last visit the employees were constantly following me around the store as if I was going to steal something which I did not appreciate at all also I asked one of your employees if she could discard an empty can for me but she just told me "there is a trash can out on front" I was still shopping and nowhere near the front so I ended my shopping early due to the rude employee and lastly I used my points hoping the cashier would take off half the price of the most expensive item I had which was a 40 dollar Blu Ray movie but instead he took off half the price of a 5 dollar DVD, I was not happy at all and don’t think I’ll be returning to this location anytime soon instead I’ll take my business over at the Bethany location they seem friendlier and I don’t get followed through out the store there as I do my shopping

Love shopping at Zia Records! They have an awesome selection of vinyl, movies, collectibles, and unique finds you don’t see everywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help if you’re looking for something specific. The vibe is laid-back and nostalgic, which makes browsing even more fun. Prices are fair, and I always end up finding something unexpected.

No dedicated preowned/used punk LPs except for 45 RPM/7 inches. The punk LPs are mixed in with the Rock/Pop sections. They do have a dedicated used metal section. They also had a rare Descendents record by the cashier. The guy at the front was helpful in letting me know which Zia (in Mesa by Southern & Gilbert) store has a dedicated punk section.

This Zia Records location is amazing! Derrick is a wonderful employee who really changed our outlook on records. We had an unfortunate experience with a record player, so we came in and Derrick immediately took care of us. He was able to give us insight on a new record player and actually walked around and gave us his specific recommendations. He took the time to show us how to work our player afterwards, and gave us peace of mind that we made the right choice. Thank you so much Derrick! We will be back to purchase more records and merch due to Derricks kindness! We appreciate you!
