Dollar Tree

Came to this dollar tree last night at 8pm and had the worst experience with one female staff member. My husband and I brought our 4yr old in to get some candy for a movie night together. We were all very excited. My daughter saw the balloons and wanted one so she started jumping up to grab a string and the lady cashier yelled at her to stop. Then told her not to touch them.. I asked the lady what my daughter did that was wrong many times and she refused to answer. We put our loot of candy down and walked out.

My son went there Saturday and got 7 helium balloons for my 55th birthday they were not filled properly!!!!! Today is Wednesday and all the balloons are flat on the floor!! Helium balloons stay up for weeks!! So go anywhere but The South Belt Dollar Tree!!

Very friendly staff and great customer service! Manager is really cool and kind, however he does seem to work so much. Hope he gets some mental break days especially if he's an introvert! However, I always enjoy their kind attitudes. Stay healthy and be kind to yourselves 😊

recently visited this establishment with my husband in the morning. and we have been victims of racism by the workers who work there because we are Latino, they treated us as if we were criminals for the sole reason of being Latino. The lady who served us watched me as if she were going to steal. and discussed with another worker what he was doing hanging around the store. That I know how to visit. Looking is not a crime. That's what I know stores are for. We bought what we were looking for and left with the unpleasant experience and mistreatment towards us. How unpleasant it is to go shopping after a night of work and be treated like this.

For the first time in awhile it was enjoyable. Customers were helping each other find what we were looking for including the children. Usually it is everyone is rude. The whole energy in the store was good. I was having difficulty finding two rolls of gift wrap for a wedding gift and another women was too for a bridal shower. I mentioned it would be nice if the paper rolls were stood up so we wouldn't have to dig through the whole bin. She agreed and we started looking for each others as we went through them. We found enough white for us both. Then had difficulty finding white ribbon too until I saw some at the end of the isle. I saw her on another and shared. The same at the cash register, another women was trying to get a soda from the cooler with her hands full, I helped her then she let me go first because she was waiting on dog food. The gentleman behind me had 2 items I let him go saying the cashier could have him checked out before I would have my cart emptied. We both were almost done when the dog food arrived. Each of us visited as the cashier checked us out with us all happy and helping one another. Autumn and Veta the cashiers were very friendly. A good visit, except the way the wrapping paper is arranged.

Great checker, she helped me find something for my Grand Dad. Thanks my lady. You remember the Truck.

Very nice staff. A bit paranoid about people coming in with hoodies and ski mask on. which is understandable but also, they do not like you to bring backpacks or large purses because believe it or not, people even ripped off dollar stores. And there is also no public restroom available any longer due to past customer abusing of it.
