Akiba HQ Anime & Gundam Store

I visitied this location for the first time recently. Great selection of models of all different grades, very well organized and easy to browse. I loved seeing the pre-built models on display. They even had all of the hobby accessories you could need. Nippers, panel liner, lighting kits, its all here. Prices were fair and transparently displayed. Highly recommend if you are new or experienced in this hobby.

Visited this store on Sunday with my family, the staff was very friendly, knowledge and very helpful. They has a large selection of gunpla and very well organize, definitely recommend everyone check out this location.

Very nice experience purchasing model kit in this store. Staff is super friendly and patient to answer my questions and the return policy, bought one ver.ka Hi-v gundam and one Pokémon. The staff also helped me unbox the kit and check all the bags are intact. Will definitely come back again.

A fantastic shop for anyone starting their model kit journey. The owner happened to be there when we purchased our Mobile Suit and offered a warm, friendly walkthrough that made the experience both helpful and enjoyable. You can tell he really cares about the hobby and his customers.

Came to shop for a friend and I’m not familiar with any of the things they sell, so I was just relying on the employee to help out. He was super helpful and knowledgeable about the items and ending up purchasing 7 gundam model kits. They have good selection of different types of models!

Great shop full of current era and newer Gunpla, 30 Min sister kits, anime figs, blind box mini figs. Paint nippers, scribe tools and other accessories. Incredibly helpful staff. Promptly answered phone good store hours. Overall 1st experience 11/5 stars

I used to stop by the Hayward location during the time I was building GunPla non-stop, and loved the selection there. Here at the new San Mateo location, it’s smaller but has a great organized selection of GunPla and MORE all lined up across both walls, and the staff is kind and takes good care of the place as well. Definitely will come back again soon!
