Sovereign: Poke, Boba, Asian Kitchen

I’ve never heard of this restaurant, nor did I read any reviews prior to ordering. I placed an order via Grubhub today, and I was a bit impressed, mainly for the flavors. Everything arrived within 40 min, still hot. I ordered a ramen broth, an order of tempura shrimp along with the spicy yaki udon. The udon was not spicy at all, but very delicious. Not sure why it’s referred to as "spicy", there was not a single sight of red or green chilies. I would have loved for it to have a kick of spice, but nevertheless, still delicious. The appetizer shrimp a fail, they did feel a bit chewy/ rubbery, and dry. This was not my favorite. The hot ramen broth was soothing and on a cool day like today, well worth it. I wish that my order had arrived with chopsticks, or some type of utensils. None were provided, not even napkins. And I was a little disappointed that no sauces were provided, not even for the noodles. Often times some oriental places will provide siracha or some type of chill sauce. Perhaps this places does not offer those condiments? I wish that I could have given this a 4, even 5 star, but ordering from a food service one would hope the meal arrived with at least chopsticks, or some napkins. If I visit the restaurant in person, I’ll be sure to update my review then.

From the moment we arrived, the employees made us feel welcome with attentive service and warm smiles. They took the time to explain how the restaurant works, guiding us through the menu and ordering process, which made everything smooth and easy. Their friendliness really set a positive tone for the visit. The food itself lived up to expectations, delivering on flavor and quality. The poke bowls were fresh and satisfying, with plenty of options to customize, while the boba drinks added a fun and refreshing twist to the meal. It’s clear that care goes into the preparation, and the variety ensures that there’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re craving a light, healthy bite or something more filling. One detail that stood out, however, was the music experience. The volume was a bit too high, and the choice of music didn’t quite align with the otherwise relaxed and cozy vibe of the space. Considering the overall chill and welcoming atmosphere, a softer or more ambient playlist could truly elevate the dining experience, making it easier to enjoy conversations over the delicious food.

Wow. We had the cookies n cream shake, caramel milk tea, teriyaki shrimp bowl and veggie fried dumplings, and everything was on point. The teriyaki bowl was vibrant, fresh and so yummy. And everyone was sooooo nice! We’ll definitely come back 😊

everyone that works here is very nice and attentive. The food is delicious best poke in plantation fs i personally dont care for there boba another down side is they do get very busy especially with online order during lunch time so if you are trying to come on lunch time keep that in mind but other then that this place is amazing

Literally my favorite quick food spot, clean and healthy food, nicest staff ever, amazing environment with couches, board games, and very cosy atmosphere. Delicious and honestly a great price for the quality and amount of food you get. I recommend sovereign to everyone and I am genuinely only making this review out of my love for this place. Best food ever. Thank you to the owners for making sovereign exist and running it so well.

​Exceptional service! We stopped here after a tiring drive from Orlando on New Year’s. The owner was so welcoming and offered us very helpful tips on the menu, helping us choose the perfect dishes. He is also bilingual (Chinese/English), which was a great surprise. ​He provided top-notch service and kindly declined our tips at the end. The poke bowl was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It’s rare to find a place that combines such great food with heart-warming service. Highly recommended!

It was absolutely DELICIOUS AND healthy!!! The customer service was fast and the attendant was super personable:)
