This Barnes & Noble on Pines Blvd is very well organized and clearly managed with care. There's a dedicated vinyl section for collectors, a great kids' book area, and a large newsstand. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of bargain books and the solid selection of "Libros en Español." Beyond books, they also carry toys, STEM kits, and games that make it fun to browse. And of course, there’s a neat Starbucks inside, perfect for enjoying a coffee while flipping through a good read. A great spot for readers and casual visitors alike.
I am a frequent visitor of the B&N stores and I found this one very nice, particularly because they have a section of Miami stories from Latino writers and a wide selection of literature in Spanish, which I haven’t seen in other locations. The store is very well organized, clean and tidy. Staff are also very kind and knowledgeable of both the items on stock and general authors. The large section of Harry Potter books and items is highly appreciated. There’s a Starbucks inside and there’s plenty of parking available, with accessibility.
Love Barnes & Noble. With Amazon and everything being so readily available online, we have lost the art of visiting an actual bookstore. I love coming to physical bookstores to check out the newest books, gift ideas, holiday selections and whatever else. Just browsing around a bookstore makes me happy. It's therapeutic. Happy to see B&N stores are still around. This one is located at Pembroke Crossing Shopping Center next to Ulta and Golf Galaxy. I have found that this location has some great clearance and last chance deals that are different from other B&N locations. Not sure why but it is. I stopped in here to return some items and Mia was my lovely cashier. She was wonderful and very patient. Helped me as best as she could with my return. When she was unsure of how to process my specific return dealing with a Last Chance deal that was apparently a Final Sale but the other B&N location said I would be able to return. Mia called in Tyler who was very empathetic to my situation and honored my request to return these Last Chance items since the other store said they would be able to do it. But now I know that any B&N clearance and Last Chance items are FINAL SALES!!! Thank you Mia and Tyler for your help in resolving my situation. I appreciate your help in this matter.
Wish I could’ve written a better review about this place. First with the good, I loved the selection of books but that’s where the positivity ends really. The staff were incredibly rude and gave me and my brother dirty looks throughout the store not to mention are cashier gave me so much attitude for asking a simple payment question. This is definitely my worst B&N experience I won’t be back at this location again
I love all the stuff they carry. I could spend all day in there because it's so peaceful. The only thing I wish they had is baskets or rolling baskets because it's hard to carry all the books and stuff you buy.
You may have noticed I've reviewed a lot of Barnes and nobles. It's because I go to a lot of them. The staff here was just amazingly helpful and everybody was trying to help me which I like. Not all locations offered to help you you have to go find someone in bed. So a gold star to the staff here and more importantly I found the book I wanted and bought it. I could have saved quite a bit by buying it online but I like to pick up books and look at them the tactile sensation is important.
Horrible customer service. We went the customer service area amd there were no employees there. When I found the African-American worker he was standing there talking to a woman for 15 minutes. And when finally he was finished he walked away. Then I asked him to check the back for something and he went in the back and started walking around just staring at stuff. Then came out at told me there was none left. Then I went and asked another worker. I was talking to her and she started to walk away from me while not paying attention. I asked her and she told me it was at "the front" but we were at the front of the store. Overall horrible customer serive. Will never come here again.
